Would you lie to get a free fridge at a value resort?

This question was posed on the Budget Board, and posters are believing it is a legitimate question. The responses are entertaining. I even posted to give responders a little more fun. Could this be the new "refillable mugs" debate?

I haven't stayed in the value resorts since '03. Do you need to pay for the fridges? Also, what kind of lie gets you a free one?

And to answer your question, I wouldn't lie to get a fridge. My DD has big ears and hears more than she should now. I try to keep my truth stretching (lying ) to a minimum.

Fill the bathtub with ice and put them in there. You can fit a lot more in the tub than in one of those little fridges.

I think that filling the bathtub with ice and using it as a cooler is a great idea, but it makes showers mighty tricky. Have you ever tried balancing on the edge of the tub while showering? If I did it and slipped, could I sue Disney?

Once again I blame Disney. Wouldn't be hard to make them available in all the rooms or just be consistant when it comes to charging people for them or not. It's these give aways that cause them problems because word spreads quick and people catch on.

If you don't lie to get a fridge for free, where am I supposed to keep all that meat, etc for my crockpot cookery while I'm out at MK, jealously guarding a spot on Main Street for the afternoon parade, with chalk, tape AND a stolen hotel towel. Drinking from a refillable mug from two years ago of course.
