Would you eat dinner at 9:00 p.m. if it was at Le Cellier?

We were able to get a ressie for our family at Le Cellier (we have teenagers) at 9:00 p.m. (I guess everyone else will be watching Illuminations!) Still, it is a bit late. Would you do it?

P.S. We are staying at the Beach Club and it's EMH that evening at Epcot, if that makes any difference.

Given that you're staying so close to Epcot and there are EMH that night, I'd go for it. It sounds like you'll be staying up late anyway, right? And you'll get some exercise just by walking back to your resort, let alone walking the park after dinner.

I have a 9:20 adr at Le Cellier for 12/28. We chose to eat late and then do evening emh at epcot that night. We ate at Le Chefs at 9:20 last year during xmas week for the same reason and had great time at emh.

I was also going to suggest checking in earlier, say 8pm, and see if they can seat you then. I've done this with less popular places (like Ohanas) and it worked for us.

I would. Im usually not even hungry for dinner until that time and have to force myself to eat at 7:00 or so. If I wasnt traveling with a little one, all my dinners would be at 9:00!!

If you've never been there, then yes. You may be one of the many who love this place. But with that said, I wouldn't after having been there. I thought it was good, however, far from great. There are at least another dozen restaurants I like better in WDW.

Definitely! :thumbsup2 We've eaten as late as 10 in the summer, with a 5 year old, and that was SCI-FI :scared1:! I know - but the 5 year old loved it when we went at the beginning of our trip and begged to go again. It was the only reservation we could get. So, I wouldn't even think twice about going to Le Cellier at 9. I wish I could get a reservation then... :upsidedow

For us anytime we have ate at LC has been great regardless of the time so go for it as is hard to get a table there :woohoo:

I'm from the west coast, so most of my ressies are around 9pm. I say go for it.

Yes. But, we tend to eat later at WDW anyway so it doesn't bother us in the least to get late ones if it is to a place we really were hoping to get.

Yep...we did this twice last year. I had a 9:10 ADR at Le Cellier and a 9:40 at Ohana. Unfortunately, we didn't get seated on time at either one, and it was close to midnight before we got back to Port Orleans after eating at Ohana.

It did get pretty empty and pretty quiet toward the end of both meals, though!

We would do the same. However, advance reservation helped us getting the preferred sitting. How about walking down the WDW resort post dinner?

If it is what you want to do, why not? But if I were giving up something else I wanted to do (illuminations), I'd pick another restaurant. I would schedule dinner when I want to eat dinner when it coordinates with my park plans. I might not understand the mystique and glory of Le Cellier... in fact I've never dined there, but there are many good places in/near Epcot to eat that are probably much better.

I almost made an ADR at Le Cellier there but Coral Reef, San Angel Inn, Chefs de France, Garden Grill, and Flying Fish won.

Nope not me. I have no interest in eating at that hour even if I plan on being up later, just oo later fo us to eat a full dinner imo. No dining experience is worth such a late ADR to me (yes we have eaten at Le Cellier) but if you don't mind a meal that late then have at it.

I am probably the only person on this board who is not "gaga" over LeCellier ... so I would vote "no".
