Would you eat at the restaurants that I will be eating at?

My family 2 adults and 2 young children, love TRex at downtown disney and Le Celliers. Both are excellent and we have been on numerous occassions.

We were at Cape May for breakfast & dinner in April. I will return for breakfast but not for diner. Our crab legs were like the ones on a Chinese buffet. Full of water! Red Lobster puts them to shame. Very sad because we were looking forward to fresh seafood.

General notes: I like the variety of places you have! I see a lot of people who seem to stick with one kind of dining...may work for them, but wouldn't work for mw. I think it's good to keep old favorites and to mix it up. I may not choose all of them, but I probably wouldn't ever completely exclude any of them.

T-Rex -- Went here last year and loved it-If you love it, go ahead...I like it...but I don't love it.
Tony's Town SquareNo opinion
Brown Derby-NOt the best value on property, but it's good...and my favorite dessert on property is there. Banana Tower I think it's called.
Cape May Cafe -- Excited for the crab legsOnly had breakfast, but liked it.
House of BluesI ate there a few years ago, and it was definitely a big surprise...the food was good and our service was great.
JiKoMy favorite! I usually order a few appetizers rather than get a main course...their desserts are a little spotty.
Le CellierHaven't tried the new menu...I'm one who thought it was overrated in the past.
Big River Grille & Brewing WorkHaven't tried it yet, as it doesn't excite me...but I have heard good things from my family.

My own personal thoughts....

You will see good and bad reviews for every single Disney restaurant. So look at the menus and decide what looks good to you, then try it out for yourself. Nobody is going to like every restaurant.

Let's take Le Cellier for example. We've eaten there more than any other Disney restaurant. We love it. Any one we've taken there loves it. I've always had great food and excellent service. But then people come on these boards whining about how over-rated it is and how they won't go back. I've been going there long enough to know that I like it and won't be swayed by these nay-sayers. They don't have to like it, but I do, and ultimately, that's what counts.

So - go where you think looks good and make your own opinion of whether or not you'll go back there.

I will agree with you about forming one's own opinion not based on the opinions and reviews of others.

However, I do have to take notice of your choice of words about those who don't feel Le Cellier is out of this world fantastic like you do. I certainly wouldn't call you dillussional and over zealous in your love for Le Cellier anymore than I should be called a whiner and nay-sayer because I find it to be rather average. I'm sure there are places I enjoy that you don't; does not make you a whiner or nay-sayer. Just a person with a different opinion. Not trying to argue with you, just saying your choice of words toward opposing opinions is a bit strong. ;)

I'm sorry you took my post in that way. That's why I added the part about people having different opinions and that it's okay to have those different opinions.
I'm more or less making a general reference to those people who go on and on about how much Le Cellier sucks. That and simply only that. And trying to imply that I would not make my dining decisions based on such posts. Also - we love Le Cellier (not over-zealously) - but it's no where in the league of a place like Jiko! (Which WOULD be a place that I have an over zealous love of - that and Sanaa. I love them both TONS! Way more than Le Cellier!) :)

Let's all get along, no matter what our dining preferences are! :hippie:

Tony's Town Square
Nine Dragons
Le Cellier

My wife and I have visited these from your list.
All were very good.
We were especially impressed with Le Cellier.
The pretzel bread was interesting and the steak was super.

We have Cape May and Jiko on our lists this October too-
Love the mussels and clams at Cape May and we've eaten at Jiko before but not with the new menu- very excited abotu that!

I have been to all these restaurants at least twice as we go to WDW twice a year and I enjoy all but Tony's. Went the first time and wanted to give it another try. That location is probably the best in all of WDW and deserves a restaurant fitting it's superior location. However I also feel that everyone should at least one and should judge for themselves. Let me know and have a great trip!!!!

Nine Dragons, Cape May and Le Cellier are definites for me
