Would you drive from Toronto - WDW on I-75 in December?

I am just wondering would anyone want to take a chance driving from Toronto - WDW in December using Interstate 75? My family and I always drive down in the summer using that route, however my mom has brought up the idea of driving in December taking Interstate 75. Although I am not sure if we should take that chance because I think flying would be better, so what are your opinions?

I would have no problem driving there but my wife on the other hand would have to be sedated for the entire trip... she can't even go to the mall without getting jittery..... hhmmm now there would be a nice quiet ride...hhhmmmm just kidding folks the only draw back about driving in Dec. you just never know what kind of weather your going to get yourself into.....

We drove down last year from Kitchener at the end of January. We "raced" an ice storm down. We were nervous about the trip before we left but it ended up being great. It went very smoothly, so smooth in fact that we are driving down again this year

I can't see us every thinking about it. The weather is way too unpredicatable~ last march Break we were stuck in Sault Ste Marie in a snow storm. This March, we had no snow. Even year to year, you can't know what we'll get until the week of...

We left Dec 13th for our 2007 trip, from Cambridge. We drove straight through both ways.

We were expecting a snowstorm that evening so we adjusted our plan and left in the morning, missing all the snow.

The drive down and back was fine.

We left FL Dec 29th and the only thing was on the way back we had rain from Georgia to Ohio.

I would do it again, no problem.

We're hoping to go in December this year and I am thinking about driving. My minivan comes off lease at the end of Decemeber and I still have lots of kms to use! And considering there are 5 of us now the thought of going through customs with 3 kids is becoming quite terrifying to me. This said, I will watch your thread closely to see what it may be like.
