would you go to a timeshare to get some tickets to save money ? or not waste the 120 minutes ?

my hubby said no not to waste the 120 minutes and just buy tickets. but if it really does save money ?

That 120 minutes can turn out to be better than half of your day! They will offer you breakfast when you arrive (which is not part of the 120 minutes) and then they'll want to place the kids in a playroom setting so that you're not distracted.

Then they'll take you in a golf cart to the far side of the resort, making it darn near impossible for you to walk back to point A. They'll bring one supervisor in after another pressuring you to take advantage of that one last not-to-be-passed-up deal that they have to offer you. The more that you say "no", the harder they will pressure. And all the while, a mighty distance separates you from your kids and your car.

In some cases the salepeople will get downright beligerent and rude when you refuse their offers. When they finally give up, it will take them forever to take you back to point A, where it will take another lifetime for them to issue the tickets that they promised.

If there's no other way for you to afford the tickets, and you have the time to waste, then watching the whole scene unfold could be kind of entertaining. If you have places to go and things to do, it can be extremely frustrating. It's not something that I would do while on a Disney vacation.

Mad4themouse...you got that right! You said it, word for word. Never again will I go through the timeshare tour to get tickets/better room rate! :sad2: We did this on our first trip to WDW and didn't leave the tour until after noon. It's just not worth it, IMO.

My time at WDW is very precious...we don't go that often.
I would not want to waste my time with high pressure sales people.

Did it once in Texas, never, ever again.

lol, no we can afford the tickets it was just thinking you know..

thanks, we are not taking that up them.

I know when we were in las vegas we sat through a 30 min thing and got $200.00 ticket to a show and that wasnt bad at all

ot: but i found out i am doing a girls weekend in may to diseny woohoo

watch out on the time. a friend of mine did this and it was double the amount of time they were told. if they left, they wouldn't get the discount.

DH & I attended what was supposed to be a 90 minute timeshare presentation in Vegas. We intently listened and EVEN SHOWED INTEREST (BIG MISTAKE!!!). The horrible ordeal lasted over 3 hours. As soon as they start making an offer say NO!! and keep repeating NO!!. Make sure the sales person knows the answer is NO!! and he is wasting his time on you. Then he may let you escape with your "Free" gift. We got 4 tickets to a fun magic show but I feel we paid a high price with the loss of our time and the torture of having to sit through all the offers and counter offers from the sales manager and all the pressure.

Some people with certain personalities can really cash in on these deals but from now on my response will always be NO WAY!!!
