Would you consider this a water view?

I once had a water view at the YC. Went out onto our balcony and there was a huge tree completely cantered on my balcony blocking any view of anything but leaves. I went to the desk and told them that I had paid for a water view, the CM argued that this WAS a water view room and that there was no other room available. No refund, no move. Next day I went back, got a different CM and was moved. Lesson learned: there is no fairness to the way Disney categorizes room 'views'. Be aware, if you can, of the worst possible view for your room category and be prepared that this is what you may receive. If there was once a mud puddle outside your room, Disney may well categorize it as water view for the next 20 years, long after the puddle is gone!

Total BS that some of these rooms, like yours, should be categorized as water view. Hope that you get your room changed to something more appropriate.

I agree with the notion that it's likely a choice between "parking lot" type views and "water" type views --- that is definitely in the latter.

Also have you ever looked at what some houses realtors consider "water view"? That's way more water view than some I've seen....
