Would you change rentals?

We are booked through Magical Vacation Homes, which has excellent reviews, to stay at Windsor Hills, a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house. Beautiful, private pool etc... We've paid a non-refundable $370 deposit.

However tonight we came across quite by coincidence, a similar rental in the Four Corners community in Davenport through Florida Fantasy Family Vacation, an almost identical rental - 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, pool etc... for less than half the price. It's $1187 cheaper. Now, we're splitting it two ways (traveling with in-laws). So, if we cancel our other place and forfeit the deposit, we still save $408USD (works out to about $500 savings with the Canadian exchange) each.

The only differences are:
- No games room
- It's not in a gated resort. The Windsor Hills place has a clubhouse, playground, resort pool etc... This is just a house with a private spa and pool.

It's on VRBO.com, and has 31 reviews with a 4.5 star rating. Would you switch to save the money, or just stick with what you have?

I would stay at Windsor Hills. It is so convenient especially at the end of a long day. The pool/clubhouse area there is also very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windsor Hills.

You are paying extra because windsor hills has some of the best on site facilities around. It's by far and away the most popular villa rental resort in orlando and also closest to Disney . I would leave your booking in place.

Okay, perfect, thank you. I admit, it certainly looks beautiful. But the idea of saving that much money, and instead being able to stay an extra night was appealing.

I didn't realize the other rental was that much further away.

To the OP.

Stay with your original booking ..... as it is reserved & deposit paid.

If you cancel ..... and try to book the Four Corners Property

it just " Might" be booked in that short space of time.

Now ..... Take note of where ( And the number of the villa ) it is.

( Only about 15 min extra drive time )

AND when you have some Free time during your vacation ... pay a visit

to The Four Corners villa & take a look & see ???????

Go onto Hwy 192 ... Turn West and Head towards Hwy 27

Join Hwy 27 South towards Haines City & it is on your Right

Before the Crossover of Hwy I 4

AND see another bit of Florida as your at it

Then re join Hwy I 4 and head for Disney area

Well worth an Hours Drive.
