We are booked through Magical Vacation Homes, which has excellent reviews, to stay at Windsor Hills, a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house. Beautiful, private pool etc... We've paid a non-refundable $370 deposit.
However tonight we came across quite by coincidence, a similar rental in the Four Corners community in Davenport through Florida Fantasy Family Vacation, an almost identical rental - 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, pool etc... for less than half the price. It's $1187 cheaper. Now, we're splitting it two ways (traveling with in-laws). So, if we cancel our other place and forfeit the deposit, we still save $408USD (works out to about $500 savings with the Canadian exchange) each.
The only differences are:
- No games room
- It's not in a gated resort. The Windsor Hills place has a clubhouse, playground, resort pool etc... This is just a house with a private spa and pool.
It's on VRBO.com, and has 31 reviews with a 4.5 star rating. Would you switch to save the money, or just stick with what you have?
