My friends and I share rides to pick up the kids to and from the school bus for years now.
Three days ago I was a minute late but my other friend #2 was there so he left my kids ( one kindergarten, one fourth grade ) with her , no problem.
The next day the bus was early, so early that in fact nobody was there yet and when my friend #2 saw the bus she ran because she only lives two houses away. He allows all the children to get off except my kindergartener because nobody was there, needless to say that she was 75' away from the bus and that he also allowed her kindergartener off the bus. Of course my kids started crying because he was leaving one at the bus stop and taking the other one back to school but my friend told him to leave her with her, he did.
Today my other friend goes to get them off the school bus and he says that he doesn't know if it's ok for her to go with my friend because he doesn't have a note from me allowing her to pick her up. Hello??? She has been picking up my oldest for years and my youngest for months and viceversa, besides we wrote down all of the names on the transportation information. What is the matter with this man?? He gets this moods every now and then but he's a little too much at times!
Maybe he's mad that I was late once in 5 years !!

Yes I would complain. I remember riding a bus as a small child and one driver stuck out in my mind as having the worst attitude in the world. For years she stopped at the end of our driveway. THen one day she found out that she didn't have to and so she just drives past with me standing there. Without letting me know she just drives past this little 3rd grader. Ticks me off to this day. Anyway yes I think sometime the drivers get a 'tude. Now my son's driver is a sweetheart so I know its just some people not all bus drivers. (Putting on flame retardant suit in case anyone thought I was casting aspersions on ALL bus drivers.)
