Would you call back?

I called today to see if, by chance, I might could apply a FD pin code my sister gave me this morning. Nope...not a chance. I understand that and know the rule is non-transferrable.

However, I've read several people on here post saying they used their mom's or their brothers and so on email and even though it wasn't their address/name and they weren't traveling with them, they allowed them to use the pin code anyway.

Is it worth calling back? Or now that I have called, will it be recorded in their system?

When they look up the pin codes it has a list of people that can also use the pin for whatever reason. Obviously you know you're trying to get around the rules of the pin since it's non transferable. If you feel like calling back and checking go for it, but they'll pull up the same list of people the first CM did so I wouldn't count on it.

Things like people using someone else's pin aren't as common as they seem on the DIS. This is a small group of people compared to the amount of travelers.

Technically, I wasn't supposed to use my moms pin but I did. I booked through a pin code link online. Agreed that my moms address was the correct shipping address and used my address for billing.

Then I called Disney and asked them if I was going to run into trouble upon arrival since my mom decided to not go. (A friend got me nervous about that but all with good intentions.) CM told me that technically I'm not supposed to use it but she asked for the pin put some notes on my account and told me to not worry. But she also told me to not push it and try to add anymore rooms to the pin.
