That's what I was going to ask.
I mean if it's just everyday run of the mill pictures --- I really wouldn't bother to do much more than a restore.
And if it's illegal porn, that hard drive should probably be turned over to the police.

I was going to ask why we were throwing out hard drives or turning over to the police over material that can be found at ant mistyped url. (Don't mistype southwest, btw)
While not welcome in my house, there is nothing illegal about most porn, and there are far easier ways to get it then restoring a wiped hard drive.
