would you break the bank for La Nouba?

We have seen many cirque du soleils and LaNouba is our favorite. We have seen La Nouba twice and would go again. It's a great show and if you plan ahead you can pick out great seats online.

I haven't seen La Nouba, although I have seen many clips of it. I've seen several other Cirque shows though; they have some that travel around the country. If they don't come to your area or if Disney has a comparable price then I would recommend the show! Cirque does fantastic shows, but when they travel in your area, not only can you get a better price, but also have a great family night out!

La Nouba is awesome and definitely something you will always remember, BUT if if it is going to "break the bank" I would hold back for another time when it will not. Next time go for 9 dys and then spend the extra cash on Cirque. Nothing is worth " breaking the bank". On the other hand if you are able to go to WDW for 10 days without any worries about cash, then the extra $150 or less really shouldn't be an issue. Either way have a great time!:cheer2:

the other thing is I thought we would take a couple of days off from the parks and relax by the pool, do Quest since we got free tix, sleep in (God forbid) so we could do La Nouba on one of those nights when we weren't drop dead exhausted. I mentioned not going to the parks everyday and my DD was all upset, lol. I'm not going to say anything about La Nouba and see how the trip flows.

As far as Cirque shows go, La Nouba was a disappointment to me. I wouldn't do it again or recommend it to anyone. There are many better ways to spend time and money at Disney. Just spend the evening watching Wishes again- you already paid for that. :thumbsup2

so many opinions. mine would be to do it. I, as well, have seen several cirque shows and LOVE la nouba. it wasn't something I aspired to so we did not go till six years ago when our children took us as a thank you for dh and I taking them to wdw for a vacation. the show blew me away! I just didn't know where to look or what to watch, there is so much going on (in a good way). we have gone back and I still feel the same way about it. I know we will be going to see it again, its just that good.

I went to cirques web page and joined there email program, it will often send you discount codes and let you know when they have specials going.

good luck with your choice.

We have seen it twice, while I did enjoy the show, I don't think it is a must do there is so much more to do in and around Orlando. The venue is nice, but the seating is another issue, there is no leg room, and you are sitting on each others lap, not the best when some people are coming from the parks .... lets just say in need of some hot water and soap and please don't forget the deodorant. Then the walk after the show was a killer.

Not sure if you will have a car, or what time of year you are going. There are lots of putt putt golf places, at WDW and at over at US. Maybe a beach day, you could most likely rent a car, get a picnic and stay all day, for what it would cost for a few hours to see the show. Also if you are going during December, There is the ICE show at Gaylord Palms. Really great family time.

we're going in August. We also have free Disney putt putt tix. I wasn't even going to bother with those but they're free and Disney probably does putt putt pretty well

In my opinion it was good, not great. I felt like I saw most of the acts in the commercials, and after a while the show got repetitive. I wouldn't pay to see it again until it was updated. I can go see a Cirque show here if I really feel the urge.

no.... I think those pics are creepy...but a lot of people must like it, it's been there for quite a while....
