Less than 8 weeks to go for us and I know its getting close as my bank account is slowly getting emptied. My question relates to Wet and Wild. I have 14 day Disney ultimate , a day at Discovery Cove and Seaworld, as well as a trip to Kennedy planned. I was also going to buy the 2 day tickets for Universal and Islands of Adventure but dont know whether its worth also paying the bit extra to include Wet and Wild. Any thoughts? Got two boys aged 15 and 10.

As well as money it's a matter of available time.

Do you have the time to get your monies worth out of the extra tickets?

Do you have Aquatica on your Discovery Cove / Seaworld tickets?

Personally no... we would prefer to use the water parks in WDW especially with Ultimate Park Tickets. Lots of locals use Wet and Wild and it fills up quickly on a weekend or during school holiday weeks. We went years ago and TBH after all the queueing I prefer the layout and activities at BB.
Last time we went to BB they had EMH mornings and we took advantage of the early entry and got to do everything we wanted to before everyone else arrived even lunch was stress free and transportation was never a problem.

We have not been to wet and wild as the 2 Disney water parks are fantastic and they're included on your 14 day ultimate ticket. You must go to Universal thou. We find 2 days are enough to see the both parks.

If I had Disney waterparks included then not a chance I would pay for Wet n Wild, we much prefer the Disney waterparks. I might try Aquatica sometime but wouldn't go back to Wet n wild again, we didn't like it at all.

Thanks for your replies. I haven't got Aquatica on my DC ticket as I thought the 2 Disney water parks would be enough. Just didn't know if I was missing out as never been to Wet and Wild.

The Disney waterparks are fantastic, the theming is lush, I would just go to those. Ive never been to W&W but whenever I have driven past I have always thought it looks like a concrete jungle :confused3

Wet'n'wild used to be the place but we haven't been on any of our last 2 trips, even though it was included on our Flex pass,to us it has started to look old & tired & IMO the management seem to think that as long as 'we' keep going they don't have to fix much eg The Black Hole -the first time we done this it was excellent, the last time the 2 person tubes were flat & the staff had a don't give a ... attitude!
I would definately try to get to Aquatica though ,we all loved it & weol worth a visit.
SD:thumbsup2

Well DF and I love W&W, it might not be nice to look at but we think the rides are much better and are big water park fans. But if you aren't a big fan of them then give it a miss.

We have never been to WW, it does appear to offer lots of different types of rides but does not have the theming of BB and TL. You can see it as you drive passed. I don't feel like I have missed out on not going to it, we are not really water park type of people and when we do go we usually just go in at tea time for a cool down floating around in the lazy creeks.

Aquatica doesn't have the theming of the Disney parks, though it does have a bit. We only did the lazy creek type of rides and the one that has the rapids was great fun. We have been and enjoyed it but again I am not bothered about doing it again. I would rather go back to the hotel pool for an hour and enjoy the party vibe at the Hard Rock Kevin.;)

The only thing I can remember Wet n Wild having that others don't is that huge balloon ball thing. Not worth the money and time just for that.

The disney water parks are plenty imo. We're defintitely going to TL, but may not go to BB. TL will be plenty if we don't.

We've never done it before, but have added it on to this trip purely so we can say we have done it :lmao:
We spend more time at the Disney waterparks, also this time we are going to Aquatica which we've never done before.:thumbsup2

I haven't been to Wet and Wild since I was 8, and tbh if I was using an Ultimate Ticket then there is no way that I would pay extra to go there when I could go to BB or TL, both are fantastic water parks and the kids loved them.

Personaly i wouldnt go to wet n wild if some one gave me free tickets we went a few years ago and didnt even spend 2 hours there

Me neither, I'm not a fan much prefer the WDW waterparks although I do want to try Aquatica at some point :)

Ladises and Gents.... I think you've convinced me .Thanks very much!!! I went to Watermania in 1989 and enjoyed tat but believe its now closed. Will make do with TL and BB.

Thanks again
