When I first read this, I was thinking my sons would have been upset with me if I let anyone see any of their test scores on anything. They're really no one else's business. I know you didn't mean to do it, OP, but I bet you will be more cautious if ever in the same situation again. I carry a brief-case size tote bag to meetings in case I receive any papers.
I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. Hopefully it will be forgotten. If the father continues to make inappropriate remarks to your son, then you or your husband may need to have a polite conversation with him.
I feel sorry for Boy A, an only child whose parents seem to want to make all his decisions for him even as he enters his teens. It's good for Boy A to see how other parents act and it's good for his parents to see how others parent. Maybe some of it will rub off on them.
