Would this be bad?

I am thinking of buying a 1GB camera card for my october trip. With my 256mb cards I can take 30min of video. Would it be bad or would the world end if I took video of the FULL fireworks show or parades? I figure with the 1GB card and my laptop to download to I could do it but I don't want to be thrown out or anything. I figure no because people bring video cameras all the time but I wanted to ask anyway.

I think ALOT of people video the whole fireworks and parade. I don't think it will be a problem. Have Fun!!!

We taped Wishes from our balcony at the GF and I know MANY other people tape it too. The only thing is, after you get home, you watch the parade and you watch the fireworks, and then you don't watch it again until maybe your next trip.

I know that for this year, we are not taping any parade or fireoworks. We find it rather boring to watch after we see it once or twice, at home (I'm definitely not talking about being bored with it AT WDW). We are planning to take a lot more videos of the park itself, and walking around in the parks, so that when we watch it at home, we feel like we are walking around the parks again.

So, after you tape the parade and fireworks, if you have any tape left, get more of walking around the parks. I know we really wished we taped more of the parks. All we have is mostly driving from the airport to Disney, fireworks, and the boats and on the Seven Seas Lagoon from our balcony.

You forgot to mention the ducks. We have about 15 minutes of pointless tape on ducks. TIP: You don't need to tape there what live anyway lol.
