No, not bad at all. Just take the WL bus from AK. After dinner take a bus to any park still open and then hop the Pop bus. But even better IMO would be to take the boat to the MK and then catch the bus to your resort.
You could also use DTD as the transfer point but I would avoid that unless all parks have closed.
At that time of day, wouldn't it be quickest to take the bus from WL to MK??? If not, will have to take the boat to FW and then to MK, that always seems like a long trip..
Your only issue is resort to resort so just take the bus to WL from AK for dinner that part is easy. Then you need to head back to a park or DTD to transfer back to POP, I would just take whatever bus comes first!
OTOH - we always budget cab $$ for just this senario. For about $15 plus tip you can get just about anywhere on Disney property via cab and they are readily available. With your plans I would still take the bus from AK to WL but we would then grab a cab from WL back to POP after dinner. IMHO the savings on time is well worth the $.

We did a similar route in March, due to a miss hap on my part with booking ADR's. We spent the day at AK and then when done took the WL bus to WCC for dinner at 7:20, you will love this restaurant When we were done dinner we rolled out and then hopped on the DTD bus to DTD and then hopped on the POR bus to our resort. It was a adventure and the kids didn't mind at all. I gave us 1 hour to get to WL and it took 20 minutes.
