Would they put us in a new room?

We booked a package for next month.. Room + Dining POP for AP holders Oct 9-12, already paid in full.

We decided we wanted to stay an extra night but not add dining for that one night (oct 12-13). We wanted the extra night so we could stay by the pool saturday and enjoy the resort..possibly go to DTD.

How would this work? Would they make us change rooms for that one night or do you think they would be accommodating and let us stay in our room.

We are going to have an extra left over food credit for saturday, i know normally they expire on midnight the day you check out. will this get messed up if they make us recheck in for that one night since we will not be doing dining plan that one night. Are they going to make us get extra magic bands for the one night?

As long as you booked the same room type, you can have the reservation CM link the two reservations and put a request that you would like to keep the same room. When you check in for the package, tell the CM that you have a continuing reservation and would like to stay in the same room if possible. It's not guaranteed that you won't have to move, but the CM will do everything he/she can to keep you in the same room. You shouldn't have any trouble using any left over DDP credits that last day as long as they are used by midnight. You will just have to use the package KTTW card for your meal(s). HTH .

thanks! but we are getting magic bands for our package...should i ask for a kttwcard for that extra night we arent doing dinning plan to keep everything seperate?

I don't know much about the magic bands and how they work, but I would assume you would get a KTTW card for the RO as that is a totally separate reservation from the package, but I'm not sure. I would have the reservations linked and then ask about that when you check in. I'm sorry I can't be of more help .
