Would the DLH have a problem with extra people in room?

We are staying at the DLH May 8th - May 14th. My parents will come up one night while we are there. We made the reservations prior to my folks making plans to come up. I figured they could just sleep in our room. I'm guessing we would have 2 double beds since we have 3 people registered to room (myself, DH, and DD4). Could we just ask the front desk for a roll away bed without them asking why? Do they really care if we have 2 extra people in our room for one night? I may just call the hotel and ask.

You can have a maximum of 5 people in a room anyway so you are not exceeding the max. I would call and confirm that it would be okay just in case, but to be honest they wouldn't ask why and they wouldn't even know - but even so call and let them know to ensure fire marshall safety Have a great trip!

I would call b/c I know GCH does not have roll aways.

Isn't there a daybed in DH room? If there is, then you would not need a rollaway. Your DS can sleep in the daybed, you and DH can sleep in one queen/double and your parents can sleep in the other.

There are daybeds at the PPH. I know that some rooms in GCH do not have them.

The one reason they would care is that they could hit you with a extra adult/room charge. I'm not sure what that is. I think if there are more than 2 adults per room, they charge extra.

I don't think all rooms at DLH have the daybed - the reservationist asked me specifically if I wanted a daybed in our room.

Yes, you need to request daybeds - but it doesn't hurt to ask now.
And no there is no extra charge for more than 2 adults in the room - or at least if there is we've never been charged this although we've stayed several times with 3+ adults =)
