Would someone check my touring plan please :)

Hiya,

I was just wondering if anyone would mind checking my touring plan. It's fairly basic, I don't have any ADR's or anything to worry about. I just wondered if anyone would do anything differently?

We have a fifth person flying out to join us on the 12th of Feb, so all the parks that we do in the first week have to stay in the first week because fith person has no interest in them, but they can be jumbled around within that week! Same for the weeks after. I hope that made sense lol! You will probably gather he doesn't like animals very much!

Well here goes:

Fri 4th Feb: Arrive
Sat 5th: Outta control dinner show @ 6pm
Sun 6th: Busch Gardens
Mon 7th: Seaworld
Tues 8th: Rest Day
Weds 9th: Isalands of adventure
Thurs 10th: Rest Day
Fri 11th: Animal Kingdom
sat 12th: Rest Day (Friend arrives)
sun 13th:Typhoon Lagoon
mon 14th: Discovery Cove (locked in)
tues 15th: Hollywood studios
weds 16th: epcot
thurs 17th: rest day
fri 18th: universal
sat 19th: Magic Kingdom
sun 20th: rest day (dinner show @ 8pm)
mon 21st: Kennedy Space
Tues 22nd - Sat 26th: Rest in Clearwater!

I have tried to put rest days after the parks I found most tireing last time. Also park hours are quite short, most days we will be back at our villa by 7pm. I have also checked the crowd levels too.

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

I know were packing everything in but we enjoy it this way.

I would swap typhoon lagoon with say Epcot, as typhoon and discovery are a similar thing to do on two consecutive days.

What if I swapped the dinner show on the 20th with Typhoon Lagoon?

If your mate has no interest in parks then you would be better swapping your weeks around as theres more theme parks in wk 2 than wk1 I think! I have to keep scrolling down to check the list!

He does have an interest in parks, just not animals I think. He hand picked the parks he wanted to do and told us to do the ones he didn't before he arrived. It made logical sense at the time.

Sorry, I just re read my OP. I didn't word it very well. I meant he doesnt have any interest in those particular parks.

i would do a Big park on your first full day (saturday) cuz, i don't know if you have been before, but you will be awake mega early, like 5am due to the time difference - so make the most of this first day also i would use the waterparks as "rest days" as i find them really relaxing, unless of course you are planning to do some "real" swimming. Then after the waterparks (disney ones) head over to down town disney for some dinner and shopping, we have done that before and it works well for us. that's my opinion anyway. Also i would move typhoon lagoon away from discovery cove else that will be 2 days in a row for swimming and you might not get your costume dry in time

thanks for your reply.

I really did consider do a big park on the first day, last time we did MK, and we were beat by the end. We also don't land until quite late on the Friday. I think we will get to the Villa about 9:30pm.

I thought we could use the first day to just get things sorted, unpack, go to Walmart and get breakfast and drinks etc for the Villa.

I would also say be prepared to change your day at Typhoon Lagoon depending on the weather/temperature. Our last three trips have been Feb time and on our last trip the weather was pretty cold everyday, on previous trips to that one we have always had one or two chilly days but the rest of the holiday was beautiful weather (I am such a wimp though, I'm still not sure you would have got me near a water park at that time of year ).....
