Would Not Go Back To.....

My wife and 2 girls stayed at the Contemporary tower last November for the 1st time. We loved it. We've stayed at other WDW resorts, and never thought we'd like staying at "the big toaster." We thought the CMs we met were great, especially the bell and valet staff. We ate a couple of meals at the Food Court and always found it clean, the food very good and the staff friendly. We had such a great time we've decided to go back again this November.

That's the beauty of WDW -- there is so much variety that there is probably something for everyone.

I'm not a big fan of the monorail resorts. I think the transport from them is worse then the bus resorts.


My won't go back to is the GF. For that much money I expected better service then at the All Atars.

I booked the Contemporary for this June and I hope I'm one of the one's that loves it! We will be in the Tower and of course I asked for the MK view, don't know if we'll get it. How long does it take for the Monorail to get from CT to MK? Do you have to change monorail cars at TTC? Also, about how long of a walk is it (over a mile?).

We stayed at CR one night and that was enough for me! We were in the Tower and had a wonderful view of MK and watched the fireworks from the balcony and bed. My kids thought that was great as well as the monorail coming through. But once was enough!

I assume you meant CR. Depending on how busy the TTC, Poly, and GF are, I would leave a half hour buffer to get to MK. You don't have to change at TTC, you only need to change for EPCOT. The walk to MK from CR is probably 1/8 of a mile. Takes about 10-15 to walk comfortably.

We love the Epcot resorts as well. There is just nothing like being so close to 2 major parks.

Why did I read this thread? We booked the CR for June and were so looking forward to being on the monorail, walking to MK... I hope we didn't make a mistake! Please, someone, write some positives about the CR!
