I'm suffering from too many options...can't decide which resort.

I'm considering renting points, and first choice would be BWV, but understand that standard view is hard to get. So, for the same money that a preferred 2-bedroom at BWV goes for, I could go with 2-bedroom at BCV. Or for a little less, 2 bedroom at SSR (which I prefer the look of in terms of decor in the villa), but like the idea of proximity to Epcot with the other two. :confused3

I'd love to hear opinions on which resort you'd choose, and why. We're taking our two boys, who are 18 and 20, on what will likely be our last family vacation for a while (can't compete with beer and girls much longer!). A 2-bedroom villa is not essential, would you save the $ and go with 2 studios?

Oh, decisions, decisions... how does anyone actually MAKE one?!?!?!

If you anticipate this being your last family trip for a while, I'd advise the 2BR over 2 studios. There's no guarantee that two studios would be anywhere close to each other. Might as well make this vacation as "together" as you can, given the future prospects for family vacations.

I'd probably go with BCV or BWV, for the location and the boardwalk activity. I just think there's a lot there to keep boys that age interested, and the walks to two of the parks makes it very convenient.

Agree with Granny!

Best wishes -

i would think that the DTD area might hold some appeal for young men of that age... :confused3
esp since it's open later than the BW and has more choices.
only you know your family.
be well.

We love the BCV, it is always our first choice. We have also stayed at the BWV a number of times. In my opinion, the location is second to none. :sunny: I agree that a 2BR would be the best way to go.

I would pick BCV over BWV with two young adults. Why? At BWV one of your young men would have to sleep on a sofa bed, why make them choose who has to do that, BWV does NOT have any dedicated 2 BR where BCV does. You MUST request a BCV 2 BR with 2 Queen beds, not all dedicated 2BR have that. Also VWL have some 2 queen bed 2nd bed rooms and ALL of OKW does too. I'm not sure about SSR, we have only been in studios and 1 BR there.

This is in no way a knock on BWV, I know my 2 boys never liked having to sleep on a pull out bed.

Have a great trip.

No matter where you stay go with the 2-bedroom villa. In my opinion, if you are going to do two studio's, you might just as well get a hotel room. The 2-bedroom will be awesome for a family vacation. Keep the fridge stocked with plenty of food/snacks/drinks etc.

I would vote for BCV. I own there, so I am biased. BCV has the largest pool at Disney, and if they are on a girl hunt they will find plenty there. Since they are under 21 they may have to wait on the beer! :lmao:

BCV is right next to Boardwalk and they would probably enjoy going to ESPN if they like sports.

I know the problem you are facing. My son is almost 16 and we already have high school girls calling the house at 1am, "Is Travis there?" I have to tell them to call back after sunrise. :rotfl2:

Please consider SSR - the proximity to DTD is of great value to young adults. We had an early Christmas last December with DS (25) last year, and SSR worked out great. We did park touring as a family during the day (yeah, he puts up with mom and dad :thumbsup2 ;) ) and he'd usually head off to DTD after dinner. He said it was a lot of fun....

I also suggest BCV in a dedicated 2BR. The location is great. There is so much activity right in that one area as the other posters have said. And I second the fact that SAB pool is the largest and one of the most popular pools on property.

I would go with BWV or BCV. :thumbsup2 We LOVE  BWV - but have stayed at both and enjoy the proximity to Epcot, MGM, and the nightlife at the Boardwalk! You can't go wrong with either place. My brother (22 years old) slept on the pull-out bed at BWV for 9 nights last summer, and said it wasn't bad at all. I agree and would go for the 2-bedroom either way.

Have a great trip!!! :goodvibes
