I'm so excited for our trip in August. We will be celebrating my 30th birthday as well as my girlfriend's first visit!! I made our ADR. I tried to make reservations at places where I have not eaten before. We have DDP. I was just looking for some pros and cons or people's past experiences. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated while I still have time to change reservations.

We will be dining at:

San Angel Inn (Dinner)
1900 Park Fare (Supercalfagilistic Breakfast, I  Mary Poppins)
50's Prime Time Cafe (Dinner)
Teppan Edo (Dinner)
Le Cellier (Lunch)
'Ohana (Dinner)
Rose and Crown (Dinner)

You've got some great choices. We love Le Cellier and we are going 2X in August. Everybody loves the filet over risotto for a reason!:cool1: We also never miss Tepan Edo because it is fun and the food is tasty. Very good value on the DDP. We love England so we like the Rose and Crown because it has that nice British pub feel. As far as 50s Prime Time goes, we have only been there once. Like the atmosphere of Sci- Fi better, but Prime Time had tasty food when we went. We used to love O'Hana, but we are not big fans of the meats there and lately it has gotten some bad reviews. We typically go to Kona instead. Never been to San Angel and we don't go for TS breakfasts so can't comment on the others. Will say that you should try WPE for your QS meals--great food there. Have a great trip. If you are like me you will likely change your choices a few times before August!!

1900 - i've been to the dinner, not breakfast. I've heard their breakfast was delish!! i've been to dinner, and it was disapointing. Not a very good variety. The characters were a riot thou! Definitely worth going. I loved them! atmosphere is so gorgeous too.

50's - its fun...but the food, not spectacular. The fried chicken was waaay too salty, and i normally love salt! The table next to us complained of the same thing. So maybe it was just an off day? I wouldnt recomend this dish. But the place overall is a blast. If you get a boring waiter thou, you might be disapointed.

Teppan Edo is BY FAR THE YUMMIEST MEAL i've ever had on disney property! The filet mignon was mouth watering! (and waaaay better than the steak at le cellier). The chefs are quite entertaining too. My son and i both loved it.

Le Cellier - this place is overrated and blows, in my opinion. The steak was tasteless and fatty. I was not impressed with the cheese soup either. HUGELY overrated restaurant.

Ohana is always a winner!

Rose & Crown - i've had their food, and it was YUMMY!! Cant say enough good things about this place. Great view of illuminations too, if you can swing it! :thumbsup2

These all sound lovely!!! I  Mary Poppins too, so we are also doing 1900 PF for breakfast in August! :thumbsup2

We have never been to San Angel Inn or Rose & Crown, but I have heard wonderful things and I ADORE all the rest! :goodvibes

Have a magical time! :wizard:

Wish I could talk about all of your choices, but I've only been to three. Ohana is amazing! So good...incredible food and lovely atmosphere. Get there a little early if at all possible b/c you can wait a little bit.

Now, my thoughts on Teppan Edo and San Angel Inn were that they were far too expensive for the food you get. No better than a Mexican chain or a habachi in any town. That being said, the atmospheres are nice and the people who work in Japan are the nicest of any Disney staff.

Enjoy!
