would like some input on this ticket media plan...

We go to WDW approx. every 18 months-2years. We're going in June and are considering the following ticket option:

7 day Park Hopper Plus

6/2003 3 days in parks, 1 H20 park day

6/2004 no Disney parks, 2 H2O park days, Univ. Studios and Sea World

6/2005 4 other park days, 1 H2O park day

My greatest fear is wanting to go to Disney parks during that middle trip. But, this reduces our per-trip ticket cost from approx. $730 per trip (for the 4 of us) to $600 per trip.

Any thoughts or input?

I'm trying to convince my DH that this is the way to go when we purchase for this year's trip (rather than the 4 day PH). He has NO interest in the water parks, but I'm still trying to make him see the savings if we go for 5 nights in '03 and 4 nights in '04. The extra options are there and we could just visit a water park for 2 hours and leave if he hated it.

Firecraker: I'm confused about your 6/04 plan and maybe I'm not understanding the "plus" options correctly? Are you saying you will pay seperately to visit the waterparks in '04? I was under the impression that using the "extras" still counted as a park entry and thereby taking a day off. Am I wrong about this, making it an even better consideration? Anyone have insight on this?

The plus options can be used alone....that is what makes it such a great deal for some people. You can have a non- park day and use a plus instead and not feel like you are missing anything.
