Would kids be bored in Hot Springs, AR?

My BIL asked us to join his family on vacation next year. We have gone together before and it was fine. He has 6 kids, and we have 2.... ages 4 - 15, but most will be 9 - 12 at vacation time.

Other than the beautiful lakes, is there much there for kids to do?

If they're anything like the kids in my family, as long as they have a pool and an arcade, they're fine.

We used to go there all the time when I was little. My grandmother didn't really believe in entertaining kids, but there were a couple of things that were fun for me. One thing we did was visit the Hot Springs Mountain Tower. The other thing was the wax museum. I think Mid America is also there and we visited there once. I don't remember much about it though.

I remember going there as a kid and always had a blast. My sister took her kids about a month ago and the whole family had fun.

We have gone there a few times for the day. My kids like Magic Springs (a small amusement and water park). It is definitely not Disney but it is close to us.
