When we are ready for lunch at AK, part of our group would like to get Flametree and the other part would like to go to Pizzafari.

Would it be okay if we got our Flametree food and carried it on trays (do they have to go boxes???) over to Pizzafari and ate in the air conditioning (!) with the rest of our group???

Would that be weird? Or rude?

Did I mention that it will be late July (hot!)and we always eat lunch at 10:45am before the crowds descend?

We did this on our last trip to AK, the CM's didn't say aything. No dirty looks either.

I've done this several times. We've also carried a tray from the American Adventure to Yakitori House, and from Pinnochio Village Haus to Cosmic Ray's. No one has ever said a word to us about it.

Ive taken my food from Pizzafari TO Flametree...with no problems or dirty looks. But then again, who would take their food and sit OUTSIDE in the heat??!!!?? bad planning!

Ask to get your food "to go". They probably won't have styrofoam ones (bad for the animals and environment) but they could make sure that your food is covered somehow.

As far as I know, the food trays used at Disney World are the same for each place so you can leave your tray at the Pizzafari if it's the same kind.

Although I have to say you are missing out on the nicest place to eat at Animal Kingdom by leaving Flame Tree BBQ. Sitting down by the water and hearing the screams over at Expedition Everest and maybe even seeing the character boat coming through.

My only issue with Flame Tree is sitting out in the heat...but you're right, it is a very nice setting.

We have sat outside at Flametree by the water overlooking Everest. It is definitely beautiful!

However, in late July we're opting for AC over the view.

Now I just have to decide between the pork sandwich, ribs, or salad???!!!

My family has done the opposite many times, taking food from Pizzafari and then eating at Flametree - usually because half of the people want Flametree food and the other half want Pizzafari food.

I am sure they don't care where you eat as long as you are spending money on their food.

Great Idea Half of my family always wants to try Flame Tree. I've heard great things about it. However Summer + Eating Outside = Bad Idea, especially at AK.
