to drop DS off at GF for pirate cruise then head over to Kona for breakfast? The cruise is 2 hrs. but I could not be late to ppick him up. What do you think????? Of we do the cruise at Y&BC is there a good place for the rest of the fam to go and eat breakfast????

We've done this without any problems. We made an ADR about 1/2 after the scheduled "drop off" time at the GF. We didn't realize that we were allowed to stay and watch all the pirates depart on their adventure, so once they were off and we had taken pics of the boat sailing away, we started walking over to the Poly. We walked quickly, because I was worried we would be late... but we were still there in plenty of time. We had a nice relaxing breakfast (without kids!). I can't recall if we took the monorail back or if we walked... there was still plenty of time before the boat returned. I know I stopped at the gift shop for a bit and we still stood around and waited and were able to take pics of the pirates return! You'll enjoy your breakfast just as much as your little pirate will enjoy his treasure hunting!

I think it's a great idea - just make a reservation just in case they get slammed with walk in's all of a sudden.

Don't forget to try the coffee!
