Would I get in trouble?

 A good fantasy, right?

I actually did the ex-lax brownies to somebody once, and it was pretty satisfying. But I was a teenager and didn't really think about the consequences.

I have SID/SPD, celiac, and food allergies. If someone were to drink your milk by accident and died from an allergic reaction what would you do? Ex-Lax contains cocoa, lecithin, vanilla and palm kernel oil. The pills also may contain corn or wheat in the starch added as well as seaweed and carnuba wax.

It is highly unlikely someone would die but you could be sued, lose your job and if the legal authorities find that you did it on purpose to hurt people then bye bye and off to jail. What if some pregnant or lactating lady ended up with a sick baby? I have damage to my stomach from celiac and that trip to the bathroom could cause me great pain in my stomach from the medicine in the milk. Is the loss of a few dollars of milk worth making someone sick or causing a baby to get sick as well as possible loss of your job and freedom?

Well if someone had such issues, why would they even think of touching someone else's milk that has their name written on it 3 times and has the spout taped shut? Seems like it means "keep off" to me.

Mayeb I will just tape a note to the firdge stating that I add laxatives to my milk as well as my special Jenny Craig food so I suggest they keep their hands off. But not put anything in there.

How about mixing baby milk or formula in the the container. Shouldn't hurt anyone, but really tastes nasty. I remember my aunt trying to convice us kids that she had put regular milk on our cereal once, but it was really baby formula becuase she had forgotten to get milk at the store. She didn't think we would notice!! :scared:
Or maybe see if there is something you can put on the carton that will stain the persons hands. Just remember when you touch the carton wear plastic gloves.:lmao:

write human breast milk on the container.. see if they still touch it... lets hope not!

I'm guessing that's exactly the reason someones touching it.

I don't see how you'd get in trouble.

If you're having some trouble pooping and decide to add exlax to your drinks to help you out and someone else steals your stuff and drinks it...not your fault. Idiot shouldn't have been stealing.

Have you tried pouring it in a thermos? People who steal from the fridge don't usually take stuff out of a thermos.

Good luck!

I still like the idea of rinsing out a bottle of Kaopectate and putting milk in to replace it.

Barring that, how about putting a really nice-looking box of chocolates in the fridge, but put a note in it so when the thief opens the box, instead of getting chocolates she/he'll see a big note inside that says
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU THESE IF YOU HAD JUST ASKED.

Or just Krazy-Glue the top to the milk-jug/bottle on.

Or put butter-milk in after you've used the original milk and replace the top.

The beauty of any of these is that
*The note might embarass the thief into stopping.
*The Krazy-Glue would stop the thief.
*The buttermilk is also a drinkable milk-product (so no allergy isues), just not what the thief is expecting.

agnes!

This sounds like a good script for the Office.

We had a fridge problem here at work.
It got real bad.

One person wrote on a post secured to their milk
"I spit in this" to dter raiders.

I am not a fridge raider but I could not resist to add to the post it.

"So did I"

I later tracked down the milk owner and told him I was joking.

One of my Mom's friends daughter worked in a hospital- and caught one of the doctors on staff drinking her pumped breast milk- and it was labeled as that!!:scared1: :scared1: She went to HR and everything- I believe he got a "slap" on the wrist for it.:scared1:

If someone has severe allergies they should be injesting things that is not their's. JMO

Well people shouldn't be injesting things that are not theirs regardless of if they have allergies or not.

The point is, deliberately putting something in the milk in this manner when you have an expectation of someone else taking it and consuming it, can and most often will get you in trouble. It sounds good on paper, but the action is concidered criminal.

Mason, mason, mason she needs help pooping, how does she know for sure someone will drink it other than herself...case closed...:rotfl2:

If your intention (with putting the laxative in) is to cause potential harm(the trots) to another human being who may have ingested it then YES you would absolutely get in trouble. I am not a lawyer but I think you'd be looking at some form of potential assault charge (poisoning)...since your intention was to harm someone (despite the fact that they were stealing from you).

Heck even a burglar can successfully sue a home owner for setting ****ytraps!

I suggest taping a note to the milk that says you added laxative/spit/breast milk to the container and then not actually doing it. That should be enough of a deterrent. A better note might be:

Attention milk thief! I know who you are and will be notifying HR that you have been stealing from me. I understand it is a firable offense.

She doesn't need to know for sure, all that is requred is an expectation that it could happen, which is easily proved by the fact that she has complained to someone in the office that somebody stole her milk, probably more than once and probably to more than a single person.

It's a losing proposition.

I am a lawyer and I generally agree with what you're saying.

There was a thread some time back about trying to thwart a gasoline thief by putting something bad in the gas can so that it would ruin the person's car. This is almost exactly the same. Under our laws, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SET ****Y TRAPS. PERIOD. It does not MATTER whether the person is stealing, it does not matter whether they came into your house uninvited, etc., etc., etc.

I remember someone on that other thread who said she was a lawyer thinking there was nothing wrong with it. I actually asked a bunch of my colleagues the hypothetical because I thought the other poster might have a point (and I work at one of the most white-shoe law firms in the world) and they all came out on the same side--my analysis.

However, once again, please note that there is a huge difference between whether something is right or wrong, legal or illegal, and whether you will ever actually get caught or be punished in the event that something unforeseen happens. A lot of this crap goes on all the time and no one gets prosecuted for it because some people will take the hint, understand that they had no business stealing your stuff, and then going on with their lives.

Still, if it were me, I wouldn't risk it.

HA! Hope her name is in her clothing, as they will need it after she drinks that stuff!! hehehehehehe

You are forgetting the attitude of people towards other peoples food! Like the PP who allegedly has all those food and medical problems, and yet would take someone elses milk. (and presumably, other items) The sense of entitlement is amazing.

And of course they will blame the person that left the adulterated item. There are laws, but they seem to ignore the fact that the person taking the items is nothing more that a thief.

Now iffn ya put a shot 'O RUM in it.....

heheheheheh

Ok then I have a better idea  just go around and spread the rumor that you have put something in the milk, that will probably work too, most people only drink something of someone they know. popcorn::

this thread is :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
****ytraps and a doctor drinking ****y milk on purpose...
and ****y is sensored????!!!???
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
