Would I Be Able to Use These Old Tickets??

Hi all! Found some old WDW tickets in my bedroom at home and wondering if I can still use unused days on these for future trips? They are from 2005 and say "1 day remaining park hopper exchange." I also found 6-day park hoppers from 2000 and 2002.

Just curious to see if Disney would even honor these if I had extra unused days :) Any and all input appreciated!!

Just did! Did I do something wrong??
I didn't see the photos. Were they of the actual tickets? If so, and the ticket numbers were visible, that is all someone would need to steal your tickets.

And, yes, the tickets are still valid (assuming that they are unused.)

Oops, that would be it! I removed them quickly so hopefully everything is A-ok! I just assumed it would be good to post since it didn't have any personal info on it.

Thank you for your reply :)

I would get them added to your MDE account as soon as possible. Anyone subscribing to this forum got an email notice of your thread, complete with photos.

I'm not so sure that's true.
I don't get an eMail that reveals the information for EVERY POST that pops up on this forum.

I just get them for individual threads to which I have first responded.

Do YOU get every single post?

Ok, I will be sure to do that. Thank you!!

And, I'm not sure that you will be ABLE to get those tickets connected to your MDE
very quickly.
You can certainly TRY, but many old tickets won't easily link to MDE and require the assistance of
a WDW I.T. person.
Even then, sometimes the only way to get old tickets linked is via an in-person trip, and taking the tickets to a WDW Guest Relations.

To try to get the tickets linked via the phone:
Call WDW Ticketing at
(407) 566-4985 (option 5)
Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm ET Mon-Sat

MDE wouldn't scan them, so I'm assuming that I would have to just bring the hard copies of the ticket to WDW itself to straighten it out!

I'll second Robo's idea of calling to see if you can get your tickets linked. For one, you'll know for sure that they're valid (they should be) and might save you an unnecessary trip to Guest Relations onsite.

If you have not yet done so, call the specific phone number I gave you in post #9 above.

I just called Disney, and they said that they were already used back in 2005! We must have just kept them for a keepsake :) thank you all so much for your help!

Well, that's a disappointment for sure. But I'm glad you know now.

Also, for future reference, you don't actually have to go to Guest Relations with old ticket media! I was using a ticket from 2002 last year, and lined up at Guest Relations at MK, only to have a CM direct me towards the entrance turnstiles. The CM at the turnstile was indeed able to scan the magnetic strip on my old ticket and add it to my MagicBand right there at the gate, without having to go to Guest Relations!

I agree that it's probably not a good idea to post photos of tickets here. However, I also doubt there are very many people who subscribe to the forum as a whole. Who wants their inbox cluttered with notifications of all of the new threads that get started every day? I just watch individual threads that are of interest to me.

Sometimes true.
Not always true.

And, I would not want to be in the entrance line behind a family trying to do this at park opening time.
I think this was an idea that was not well thought out.

I think you have to choose to get emails. I subscribe to a forum (the DVC rental one) and do not get emails from it.

That's correct, it's one of the options. I prefer it that way because it's faster to glance at something in my email and hit delete than it is to look at each web page.
