DH and I sold our SSR contract a few months ago. He works for a large automaker that was not in good shape
It was the right thing to do as it helped us build up a cash cushion just in case, but now we're arriving on the other side of the crisis and it appears DH's job is safe
SO...I'm already thinking of buying in again. After briefly crunching the numbers it looks like buying BLT new is about the same as buying SSR in the $70 range (over the life of the contract), so we're actually looking at BLT, especially if an incentive came out that could compete with a loaded resale.
BUT, (here comes the question finally!) would we qualify for incentives as "new" members, or is there a black-out period (like there is for Dish Network and a few others) where we're not eligible for the incentives?
All this is provided, of course, that they were still selling BLT when we're ready to buy in again.
