Would Father's day at Magic Kingdom be a big mistake?

I am trying to get our schedule finished up and I have planed Epcot for our first day at the parks. That will be Father's day Sunday however that will leave DD six not getting to see Magic Kingdom until Tuesday. I was thinking of changing and doing Magic Kingdom that day but I already know that Sunday is supposed to be a bad day and I wonder if Father's day will make it worse.

We were at MK on Fathers day a few years ago and it wasn't bad at all.
