Would AP discount ever be better than 40% off code?

We have the WL booked at the 40% off rate in December. I also have an AP so just wondering if I should still be watching for AP rates to be released or is it unlikely even if they are that it would beat 40% off?

Another reason I'm asking is we have the courtyard view booked because that's all we could get. Although I'm sure courtyard would be wonderful I would be happy to move to woods or standard to save some money if an AP discount was just as good and there was availability.

No. The best I've ever gotten with an AP for a deluxe was maybe 30% at the most. I really lucked out with the 40% this time. I doubt the ap can touch it.

Years ago the AP rates were 40% off rack rate. In Summer of 2004 they change the AP discount to a set dollar amount for value, mod & deluxe.
