I have Photoshop Elements 6, would anyone that also has it... that knows how to do the bubble letters with pictures in them, please explain how to do it? I asked awhile back, but it seems that no one wanted to answer.

So, i am begging for someone to give me directions on how to do it. :worship: I would love you forever!

THANKS!!!!! I have that down... but i can't figure out, like if i would like a different character for each letter.

Amy -- That website rocks! There's so much more that I could be doing! I need to play around even more now. lol. I've just been doing my own self taught stuff for my designs -- this opens a whole new world to me! If only summer were longer... :lmao:

I believe the only way to do this would be to either have each letter on it's own layer and have a background for each letter OR

create a background layer and then individual characters on their own layer - then place all above the text layer and ALT on all of them. (This is what I do) Then you can move around each character individually behind the letters if you wish.

I hope this helps!

I am self taught as well. That link is actually one I had saved that another designer shared here on the boards about a year and half ago. It is how I first learned as well.

I wish I had more time to browse and learn new things but every once in awhile I try to do something new or in a different/more efficient way. All trial and error!

In my signature each character is a separate piece of clip art on it's own layer. There is also a background gradient layer. What I did was make a mask out of the letter layer by making the letters transparent and leaving the outside soild. I then added and positioned each character individually. I never read the other way to do this until this weekend. I'm mostly self taught and when I saw the characters in the letters I figured this was how it was done. The other way is great with a single photo or clip art.

I can send you sample file so you can see what I'm talking about if that will help. Just e-mail me: domthirteen at cox dot net.
