Hello everyone. I've been looking around quite a bit on the threads and love all of the beautiful personalized invites. I've tried to personalize a few of the blank invites on my own and I am just not that talented.

I'm not really sure how to go about asking for all this but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a few for me. Pretty Please??? Thank you so much if you are willing and if not I totally understand.

I'll list the more important ones first.

Personalized with: Katie
Cinderella's Royal Table - (Breakfast)
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus - (Breakfast)

Personalized with: Reaves Family
Chef Mickey's - (Dinner Saturday June 5th, 9:10)
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant - (Dinner)
Wishes Dessert Party
Biergarten Restaurant - (Dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern - (Dinner) Can you add "Let's Celebrate Daddy's Birthday" on this one?

I know that having any of the invitations will make our trip more magical, especially the princess ones for my daughter, but I know that our trip will be magical no matter what because we will be in Disney World.

I really hope to get a few but I totally understand if no one is available to help.

Thanks in advance!

If you don't get a response...

Natalie (Donatalie) has lots of blank invitations in her 4shared file that you can personalize yourself by handwriting the name, date, etc. or by inserting the image into MS Word and then inserting a textbox over the image to personalize the invite. I'm pretty certain she has invites for all of the ones that you requested.

Here is a link that teaches you how to personalize blank DISigns:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2286193

To find Natalie's shared file...look in the "meet the DISigners" sticky at the top of the "creative DISigns" page. She has two files for invitations...make sure you look in both.

Okay, so I'm trying but I'm having some trouble. I copied and pasted the image of an invite into MS Word but I cannot figure out how to enlarge it to be 9x11. Is it supposed to stay small and then I just cut it out?

I know i probably sound stupid but I've never tried this before so I'm totally clueless.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks!

First make sure you save the largest size image not the thumbnail image.

Here is how in photobucket:
• The first image that you see is the thumbnail image and you will have to click on that image to open up a second larger version.
• The second image is still not large enough. If you waive your mouse over the image...some gray buttons will appear at the top of the picture. Click on the button on the far left that says something like "full size" or "high resolution".
• Then the image should open up for a third time. This image is the highest resolution image and is the one that you will want to save to your "pictures". Hope that helps!

Here is how in 4shared:
Click on the first image and you will get a popup. When you see that popup...click on the "download" or "download image" button and save it as a jpeg to your pictures.

Do not copy and paste images directly into word. If there is white space around the image it will distort the actual size.

Insert a picture into word:
• Open up a word document and set all of the margins to .25 inches. You can do this by going to “file” then in the drop down menu click on “page setup” and then click on the “margins” tab.
• Now go back up to the top of Word and click on “insert” and in the drop down menu click on “picture” and “from file”. Then find the image you want to insert, click on the image and click on “insert”.

To change the image size…there are two ways:
• Go to “format” then “picture” and click on the “size” tab. Then change the height to make it larger or smaller depending on what you need. Once you pick a height size to try, hit the “tab” key on your keyboard and the width will automatically correct itself. Then click “okay”.
• The second way to change the size is to click once on the picture. Then point your mouse at one of the corner dots on the square around the picture. When you point the mouse at the corner, you will see a diagonally set of arrows. When you see these arrows, click and hold down the left button on your mouse and drag your mouse in or out to make the image smaller or larger.

Helpfull hint: Make your invitations 4x6, 5x7 or even 8.5x5.5. I suggest making a smaller sized invite over doing a full page invite so that you can conserve on ink. Most invitations that your receive for parties are never 8.5x11.

Hi Ohana90,

Yes, all Texans are nice...especially San Antonians!

Have you been liking all of the rain? Our yard looks amazing. It's so green! And the weather has been pretty nice. I'm hoping that this summer won't be as bad as last year. Gosh, that was horrible!

Thanks again!
Karen
