I have to say that sorry, its not looking too good. Its been over a month with the same person now, and as I understand it, Private messages have had delivery/read receipts returned, but no actual reply by the person concerned. So its looking like the list has halted where it is now.
As I have said, there may be circumstances we don't know about, but for them not to be relayed to us, and worse, private messages ignored, Its not looking good is it, we can only assume the worst if we're not told otherwise.

We will give it a little while longer before we assume we have a thief in our midst.

If the next person on the list happens to be near swindon, you are welcome to go round to collect the disks personaly, just PM me for the address.

Hi all, just jumping in whilst I'm doing some other stuff to let you know my post has been today and I've not received any discs. Very disappointing, even more so for the people below me as they'll have even longer to wait should they arrive here sometime soon.

Queenie, i think to be perfectly honest this is not looking good. Dave has been most patient beyond what i know he normally is with replacing disks when needed etc but if this was me now i would be calling a day on this. I just dont want to comment anymore on this because it will be 5 minutes before i finished typing and i would probably be banned.

Well, Sadly this thread has now come to an official end. Myself, Sue & Rob set a deadline of yesterday for Lil_Missy to reply, and sadly she hasnt.
Time to draw a line in the sand and apologise to anyone who missed out. To those who were fortunate and decent enough to participate, Im glad you all enjoyed it, and thankyou for your gratitude at the time. Sadly not everyone is as reliable and trustworthy are you were.


For anyone who is interested, here is a copy of what Ive send by PM to Lil_Missy.....
"I am told that you have ignored private messages from Sue and the next person on the list. You now appear (unless I am out of date) to have had my disks for over a month and given no reason for the delay. It appears you have no intention of passing them on. Should this be the case I am extremely surprised and dissapointed in your actions. Whilst it may seem like just a few quids worth of disks to you, by retaining them you are spoiling other peoples enjoyment of watching them, mostly these will be small children. It is personaly annoying to see such a successful project fall apart so near to the end, and also for me to have spent more money posting you replacements.
As these disks are my personal property, I trust you will have no objections to me calling round and collecting them in person, should I ever be in the swindon area."

What an absolute crying shame, as you have 30 pages from very happy people who have enjoyed these fabulous programmes it has been a resounding success and I thank you sincerely for allowing me to see them.

A fair but biting your lip post Dave. Like you say everyone participated in the best way which really says to me what the DIS has become to me over the past couple of years, a place full of great like minded people. Fortunately no matter how angry we are nobody apart from one has been tarnished so lets forget that. Lets put the lid on it and move on. Big thanks to Dave for the original idea that i merely jumped in and helped out on as it become clear this was a monster.

Thanks everyone for being so careful with our property and hope Sue with her daughter and Jane's (Englands Disney Gang) familly who are the final recipients have many hours happy watching.

What a shame that one person spoils the fun for many others.I was lucky enough(thank's dave) to watch these great dvd's.

I really hope Lil-missy has a good excuse for not passing them on and we will finally hear her reasons when she comes back to join us again.As jen said, she didn't have many post's so there is a possibility that she has been on holiday and doesn't check in everyday like the rest of us,but then i like to see the good in everybody.

Can I first of all just express my thanks to Dave and Rob for the loan of these discs, it was a very kind gesture and I know all our dis members who have watched them will agree with me.

Im very sad that they never got to everybody in the end, and I apologise to those who never had the chance to see them.

I still would like to think that there is a genuine reason for them not being sent back and as such I do hope that Lil Missy feels as though she can pm me or Dave at any time with an explanation for their whereabouts.

That said, Dave, Rob and I agree its time to call it and day and move on, so with that said this thread will now be closed.
