Would anyone be interested in an August Grand Gathering?

I was having a look at the WDW site and notice that if you have 8 or more people staying on site you can do a grand gathering. On this site there are a number of us staying on site in August for the free DDP.

We're there from 18th - 31st August (me, DH & DD13). Just wondering whether anyone would be interested in trying to set up a grand gathering with us? There is an illuminations dessert reception ($59.99 adult/$24.99), fireworks voyage (wishes) ($34.99/£19.99) or safari and dinner at Animal Kingdom ($59.99/$24.99) all with characters in attendance.

Oh, that does sound like fun. We're there from 21st Aug - 4th Sept, but we are planning on going to P&PP. We already sacraficed our Dolly Parton outing for that one, so to get involved would mean not doing to P&PP, and I'm sooooooooo looking forward to that! So I'm afraid we shall have to bow out of that one, but maybe another year. There are always loads of us going in August/September thanks to free DDP!

Wow we are in WDW exactly the same time as you (me, DH and DD13 as well). I would have definately been up for it (although we only add up to 6!) had we not done this last October. We did the safari and the wishes cruise. Our party of 9 were not impressed and there is no way DH would let me book again. I am not sure it was worth the money as I paid for all 9 of us and luckily enough I was the only one that enjoyed them! I think maybe the personal wishes cruise is better as there are a large number of peope on the boat and don't get such a good view. My party hated the food at the safari.

Not wanting to put you off if you love disney you will love it. I took first timers and they just did not get it. I spent most of my time worrying that they were not having a good time that it just spoilt it for me.

I am sure you will love it. The badges and pins are good.

Hope you can sort something out and have a great time. Perhaps we will see you while you are there.

We are there from Aug 16th to Sept 6th and I love the idea of the Wishes Cruise. I would be interested if more came along
