Woukd you add an extra night

We booked a VGF studio renting points for this upcoming Thanksgiving from Saturday-Friday. We went to MVMCP 4 years ago and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Would you add a cash night for Friday for the night? I can't decide. It would also mean the kids would miss a 1/2 day of school as they always have a 1/2 day that Friday.

I would, even if I stayed off site, the best thing is an extra day!

I would.. I wouldn't even worry about the kiddos missing school. Honestly I remember half days when I was in school. It was abut 50% kids talking while teachers tried to get us to be quiet, 30% movies or busy work, and 20% sitting staring blankly at the wall. I doubt any child will suffer missing half a day of school.
