Yes, I would. I have also purchased a new stroller from Ebay. It was actually from the manufacturer (McLaren). They were trying to clear the previous years model.

Sure. I've sold two strollers on eBay and they were in very good shape and had a lot of bidders. They were both Bob strollers. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one on eBay if the item was in good shape, the seller had great feedback and the price was good.

Sure.

Look up the model of the stroller, make sure any recall items have been taken care of (like our Volo was part of the hinge recall, so if I were selling it I would make sure to include the hinge covers they sent me, and if I were buying something like that I would make sure the hinge covers were included, or that I could still get them from MacLaren), and get a good deal!

I bought a Sit and Stand off eBay a million years ago. Best deal ever!

I bought and sold numerous strollers on ebay and w/ a new baby coming I may do so even more. Depends on the deal, so many deal sites have great strollers for reduced prices but in some cases like myself I have purchased a few of those used it once or twice and decided it wasn't for me so I sell for the price I paid for it.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a used stroller, but I'd be quicker to search at a consignment store than on ebay. With a used stroller (or any used item that expensive) I'd like to look at it in person: To verify that it isn't stained, that the wheels roll smoothly, it's the size I want, etc.

If you do find one on ebay, pay attention to the shipping cost. Shipping such a large item could negate the savings.

I would if the sellers feedback was high. There would have to be pictures of the stroller as well. I'd prefer closer ones and not the one that's at a far distance. Back in the summer I bought a used Peg Perego aria OH off of ebay. Free shipping and my total cost was $20! :thumbsup2 The stroller was like new and in great condition. It served us well for our Disney trip.

Other places you might look are craigslist. When looking for a stroller to take with us I started there, so I could actually see the stroller in person before committing to buy. I was set on the Peg Perego and they weren't listed often, but other great brands were. A few months ago I bought a friend a Joovy Caboose w/ the car seat attachment still in plastic and the rest of the stroller was perfect for $30. These normally sell for around $80, even on ebay.

Thank you! I am going to try. I have tryed craigslist and will keep searching there. Time is on my side, but I will start bigging, as there are a few of them and see what happens.

I sure hope so! LOL I bought a Baby Jogger Elite on ebay strictly for Disney, with every intention of selling it on ebay when we are done with it!

Success.

I got the City Mini for 137$ inc shipping. and it showed up with the extra attachment in back for carrying drinks and stuff.. I AM SOOOO excited!

I'd like to echo the caution to make sure that the model you're getting isn't involved with any recalls.
Also, please check to see what that seller's other items are. If they're selling lots of strollers, there is a possibility that they may not be selling personal strollers that their children may have outgrown, but ones that are acquired through less conventional means. They may be getting them perfectly legitably, but...my niece in Texas had a friend who was getting a stroller sent from ebay. Instead of a stroller delivery, she wound up having police come by to get her statement after telling her that the seller had a local theme park annual pass, and was apparently going into the park once a week carrying her toddler and pushing the child out in a nice stroller later in the day.

Check your local thrift store. The one local to me has a ton of them and they look nice... (not a stroller person) If you have a nice one near you swing by and take a look. Plus you are also doing something nice for a local charity.

I love my City Mini. I was looking on ebay and craigslist for one and not finding much in the way of deals. I ended up getting the black one (wasn't my 1st color choice) for $129 when BRU had a clearence event and it was on clearence. I LOVE it!!!!!!
