We probably won't be going back to WDW until 9/04, so I will need to find an alternative method of saving on my rental car, room etc. now that the DC is no more. I am a member of Costco, but like to have more choices. Through DC (today is the last day), new AAA members can save 10 on enrollment, which would then cost 45 after the discount for the year. I have also have an AP, which may save $ on the room. I was thinking of joining either AAA or Emerald Club to give me more options. Are either worth it? I know Emerald Club requires giving a credit card number, and I'm a bit nervous that I may forget to cancel a ressie and have my card charged. Would you join either of these?

AAA does not offer discounts on National. EC does not offer discounts on rentals. It is just a way to bypass the rental counter and select your vehicle. Just makes it faster. The rates are usually the same for non EC and EC.
I am a member of both.
