Worth waiting?

We are planning to book for August, 3 nights. Currently looking at Santa fe/ Cheyenne but wondering if we might get a better deal if we wait for current offer period to finish. Kids are 4 & 2 so think they will prob be free whatever? Don't necessarily want to spend less but wondering if we might be able to afford a better hotel? Or are the current offers as good as you're going to get for August? Thanks
