Worth Going

I'm going to wdw and considering a day or two at universal and islands of adventure.
I hate roller coasters
I hate Simulators
Should I go .

That isn't much information but here's the facts

There are only 2 simulator rides at Universal (and I'm referring to the Simpsons ride after it opens)
There are only 4 big rollercoasters at both parks total (plus 2 kiddie coasters)

There are many, MANY other attractions at both parks that are very high quality, some even surpassing Disney (Spiderman, MIB to name a few).

Of course you should go. Even if you did not go on any rides, there is still plenty to do and see. I love just walking around and taking in the theming and ambience of both parks.

It's true what Chris says. Besides Jimmy Neutron and Simpsons at Universal and Hulk & Dueling Dragons, there's still plenty to do.

Oh wait, Revenge of the Mummy too. Yeah, I still think it's worth going.

I have to say I agree a bit with that. At the same time, if someone wants to know all of the good at Universal/IOA we should give it to them.

All I can add is Go. Try It. Then let us know what you think.

I don't want to sound mean or cold but is this a joke cause you don't like coasters , simulators and log flumes and yet we are here to help but at the same time you can't help someone that tells you they hate or don't like just about everything and we would love to be able to convince you but you can't when you start saying you hate these things and my only advise is go try Universal and if you don't like it then you don't have to go back but if you go with a open mind I am sure you will find something you will like if not love.

I kind of agree with Lawrence. This post has to be a joke. So tell me......what will you do at WDW? There are shows, there are rides that do not involve the things you do not like, there is theming, there is the Best Theme Park Restaurant at IOA (Mythos)

I am sure if you go to Universal you will find something you will like cause it is a very well themed park and diffrent from anything I have seen

So what did you enjoy at Disneyland Paris and the other non-Disney parks?

Shows and dark rides.

Is that what you enjoy? There are a lot of shows at US/IoA. You might like the Animal Show, maybe ET, and Poseidon's Fury, among other things. They have several shows at the parks that you might like.

Please give more info. We want to help. Are you thinking about just going by yourself? If so then maybe US/IoA isn't for you. If however you have kids or friends who like rides and such, and you're just trying to figure out if there will be things there for you to enjoy too, I think you might have a good time. Just sit down for a few minutes and write out some more info that might help us give you advice. What DO you like? What specific rides/shows did you like at Disney Paris? Etc.

Again we really do want to help you; if you give us more info maybe we can make better suggestions.
