worth changing plans for free dining?

We were planning on going to WDW in Nov of 2009. I realize that free dining isn't a given next year, but if they do offer it, is it worth it to change to late August/early September? Will the crowds be terrible?

It is absolutely worth it!!! It is Value season and the parks are very slow after Labor Day. Change your dates if you can and enjoy one great deal and great food (free tastes better - I swear!).

It is definately worth it!

The crowds are not bad at all. Making ADR's you might notice the locations book fast and are usually quite busy but as for the park, not really busy at all..... Disney offers the free dining but the hundreds of hotels outside disney that are usually packed do not offer this promotion and will be very empty compared to usual, making crowds and wait for the attractions much smaller.
Of course this is just my oppinion based on my experiences and observations.

I would change it if I were you. We went in November of 2006 (1-9). The MK was empty on the 1st, but after that, waits of 75-90 minutes were common. I read some where that it has to do with the elections in the northeast (?) I am hearing conflicting reports on how crowded it will be for free dining, but OH WELL-your food is free! We are booked for August 28-Sept. 6 of this year! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
