I can get a reservation for $60 more than what I have w/Enterprise to rent with Dollar at the airport. Would it be worth this extra money to have the company right there at the airport? How much of a hassle is it to use the shuttle to get to Enterprise? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure how it is to get to Enterprise, but I have used off site car rentals before and we thought it was fine. We even had three kids under the age of 5 at the time. We always go with the best price. $60 is a lot of money that you could save. That pays for parking at the parks for 6 days! Have you tried all the possible discount codes that are listed on Mousesavers? If not, you may be able to save even more.

I've used Thrifty, and never had any problems getting a shuttle over to the rental location. The offsite car rentals companys compensate the fact that they are offsite by having reliable quick shuttle service to there location.

I have tried every code I can find, and everything else is at least $100 than my price ($208) for full for one week. Thanks for your input.

I don't know about other companies. I use Hertz and they have buses leaving every few minutes and like getting my luggage, getting onto the bus and not hassle driving out of the airport, and being dropped off at my car. The drive out of the lot to Disney is easy.

Have you tried the promo code "Kiss2" at Dollar? Saved me well over $100. When will you need the car? If it's not for a while, you might want to keep checking to see if the rate comes down at either location. Last year my rate at Alamo dropped by $200 from March to June.

It is for Feb. 24-March 3, and I have been checking since the first of the year. The week right after we booked, prices jumped.

I have done both and to me it's worth the extra $$ to get car in terminal. I usually use Nat'l, but there prices seem a little high right now. I have a car reserved at both Nat'l & Dollar for our Nov. trip and will just keep watching for fare specials. Being EC member I like just walking out and getting in any car, with Dollar I will have to wait in express line first.
I saw on the news that Dollar & Thrifty (i think) may be going to partner with Nat'l & Alamo.
I also used "kiss2" for Dollar and just EC # for Nat'l. Mousesavers has all the current codes posted.

PGC mom I just got a rate for your dates of $245 - taxes included with National

no CDW LDW etc

to say its $60 more is just not true. Try about $36 more

And yes I would pay the $36 extra to save 30+ minutes.

ND41 and 5007125 and there may better codes and coupons.

EDIT - found better rate using coupon NF1982JDD save another $11

$234 for 02/24 to 03/05 - deals are out there you just have to plug in the coupons

Bob,

I went straight to National and tried the coupon code you listed above, and I got a base rate of $318 for the week (Feb 24-March 3). Is "ND41" another coupon code?

I have searched and searched and used all varieties of coupons & codes, and the best that I could find was the $254 Dollar rate that was about $60 more than my Ent. rate. That statment was certainly true based on what I have found. Yes, the National rate is $36 more than my current rate, but I cannot find that deal. I have also looked for last-minute specials, but no one has them for MCO. Can you please give me more info for how you got this $234? I appreciate your help!!

Did you put in contract ID of 5007125 as both that id and the coupon NF1982JDD are both needed

you MAY have to be an EC member to get this - not sure. would apply to the contract id
