What is the worst meal you've ever had at WDW?

Ours was Mama Melrose! It was terrible. I had a flatbread that tasted like a chalky Weight Watchers pizza. My husband had a pasta dish that they forgot to even put the sauce on it. It was by far the worst meal we've ever had in a restaurant...let along WDW.

1900 Park Fare!! The food there was horrible!! DOn't get me wrong I love WDW and their restaurants but the breakfast we had there was not good at all.

San Angel Inn. Hands down no question. I don't remember the food at all because the service was sooooo horrible. Yes I said it, a place at WDW with horrible horrible service. Rude. Slow. Horribble. I'd take bad food over bad service anyday of the week.

i agree with san angel inn-- the food was not good at all -- to tell you the truth i was not so sure what i was even eating the service was not good either but the atmosphere was pretty its better to just go in and look and not eat there

Breakfast, Spoodles. This place is horrible, how can you screw up breakfast? They did it believe me. Everything was overcooked, rubbery and very greasy.

Dinner, H&V. The service was terrible, we were surrounded by dirty tables that never were bused, the waitress never brought us drink refills and the food was disgusting.

Coral Reef!!!

Here is a review I posted a while ago...

Our group of 12 had an awfull experience at Coral Reef in summer 2006. This started when our group showed up on time for our ADR and ended up waiting and waiting and waiting. There is very little seating and the inside areas were jam-packed with people sprawled out all over the floor/laying down on the limited seating. When we were seated for dinner we noticed a family being seated farther away from the aquarium than they would have liked. I understand this is Coral Reef and people WANT to see the fish, but the place was packed, I didnt think they could have moved them. Well the family just got up and decided they would move to a table right after a family had left. This table was not even clean yet. The waitstaff just ignored the family, and didnt deal with the family, and left the dirty dishes on their *new* table way too long. We were very close to the situation and it started out our meal on a rather uncomfortable note. Our waitress was incredibly rude and absent most of the meal. She yelled at the eleven year old in our group for eating her brother's meal. (They both got the same thing, Mac and Cheese) Brought my daughter salmon instead of the kids chicken and mashed potatoes. And fixed it by bringing chicken and ziti (all she wanted was the mashed potatoes). The Mahi Mahi tasted as if it had been drenched on soy sauce *yuck* and the soups were cold and not tasty as we expected. The calamari looked as if it had just come out of a less popular fast food joint and tasted worse than they looked. They were extremely tough and no one in our group finished even one. We never got refills on any of our drinks, and ended up asking another table's server if the youngest could get a glass of cold water because he was so thirsty. Over all we had an awfull experince. After the meal our waitress added up our bill wrong for the drinks (we were on the DDP). We didnt notice the error, we were just in a rush to leave after an awfull meal. Well as we are making our way through EPCOT we hear our waitress SCREAMING at us to get back. She explained that she messed up with our bill (the difference wasnt that much) and that we needed to pay. We never would have stiffed her and we paid up, realizing that we should have caught the mistake. Howevor, it was a bad ending to a bad meal. And seeing our RUDE waitress chasing us after almost never seeing her during the meal made me us all angry and dissapointed.

Wow, I just re-read that...it brings back some bad memories! :scared1:

Sci Fi. Took forever to get seated,Bathroom was broken had to go all the way to the one by Indiana Jones (doesn't have anything to do with the food, but didn't help) service was very poor and extremely slow, When the food finally came it was terrible! My DH's sandwich was wrong twice, my Corned Beef was the toughest thickest sliced corned beef I ever saw or tried to eat. Forget what was wrong with my DD's food but it wasn't great. The only decent thing was my DS's kids grilled cheese, We won't be going back !

The worst meal we've ever had was last Sunday--Whispering Canyon. I've read so much about this restaurant and wanted to try it for a long time. Finally booked it and went. Two people in our party ordered the all you can eat skillet. One skillet came to share, and although we stopped our waitress and asked for more at least 3 times, nothing was ever brought out.
Never again. They seemed more into the entertainment than getting the food served---and the restaurant was only about half full. You never know until you try something if your family will enjoy it or not.

Chefs De France on our honeymoon in Dec 2005. Our waitress was rude and very slow. Food was not great. I had the lamb, and I ended up getting such bad heartburn because of it. It was so greasy. I think DH's food was ok.

It's been a while,April of '05 I think...but DH and I had a horrible time at Alfredo's. The service was slow, unattentive and communicating with our server was IMPOSSIBLE. I do understand that he came from Italy, but he needed to speak SOME kind of Engligh. I don't think he spoke ANY. We were dissapointed in the quality of the food once it came to our table. I've had better spaghetti Olive Garden. Hoping the new owners have better luck!:)

Cape May Clambake - horrendous! DS(16) who normally eats anything resembling food couldn't find anything edible. Maybe we're used to good seafood being from New Orleans, but even the non-seafood items were terrible.:sad2:

I agree with you! Same exact thing happened to us and we had 3 adults on the skillet! And our entertainment wasn't even good, out server did nothing. I know I said Sci Fi earlier but actually now that I think of it it is more of a tie between Sci Fi and Whispering Canyon.

Coral Reef!

After a yucky meal, the waiter charged us 5 credits on our DDP instead of 4. When we pointed out that there was a mistake, he rudely told us to have it fixed at our resort - he couldn't do anything about it! Never again!

Hmmmmm.... This is a tough one. Our only experience at Coral Reef was horrible (food bad, service lackluster). WCC-fair at best. LeCellier-well if DD hadn't yakked all over herself in the bathroom, it would have been fair (don't get what everyone raves about here but I tried it once).

Each time you go it can be different, but I have no desire to eat at any of the above named restuarants ever again.

Our experiences have a three way tie for worst.

Mama Melrose, Sci-Fi and the Cantina near the Mexico pavilion (while we found the food at San Angel to be passable, the cantina was awful.)

We've had a couple bad ones.

During our June 2007 trip it was Alfredo's. In Jan 2006 it was a tie between Concourse Steakhouse and San Angel (inside Mexico) :sad2:

:wizard: Whispering Canyon was our worst meal. We had ADRs and they tried to seat us in an area off the main dining room that was almost in the lobby. When we complained we were told , not too nicely, that we would have to wait for a table in the dining room. So we did....big mistake...we should have just left. We ordered the BBQ chicken which was awful. The rest of meal was below mediocre. The server had no interest in the "antics" in the room, never came back for drink refills or to see if there was anything we needed. The food, service and attitude were all bad, so it gets our "worst meal" vote! pixiedust:

Our worst meal in WDW was our 3rd time at WCC. This was on our last day, and I don't know what was going on, but the food and service were both sub-par, which was strange because we dined there two other times on the same trip.

Brown Derby in 1989. But the statute of limitations may have run out on that meal.
