Worst household chore

Picking up dog poop. I typically use plastic grocery bags-put my hand inside, pick up the poop, inside out it and knot. Not to mention the holding the breath factor, you have to make sure there are no holes in the bags. There were holes in the bag once that I didn't notice. On Mother's Day. Great!

I hate vacuuming. (I'm surprised no one else has mentioned vacuuming. Am I the only one?)

No, you are definitely NOT the only one. I hate vacuuming!! and ironing. Those are my top two.

I didn't use to hate all chores until I worked only 40% this year and took over all the chores to make it fair for DH. Doing all the chores all the time made me pretty much hate every single one of them. Next week I'm back working full time and nothing makes me happier than reminding DH that we are back to splitting them again!!

Mopping the floors. Especially around the edges- I can't ever seem to get those spots truly clean. I just did it on my hands and knees today and I hate hate hate it. Hmm we are having pergo put in next week- hope it's not quite as hard to keep it clean (living and dining room) as linoleum (in the kitchen and bathrooms)!

I've already told DH that if I ever go back to work full time, I'm hiring a cleaning lady.

do you REALLY believe that they make electric "leaf" blowers for outside use only?

open a window and a door, and fire that sucker up (just velcro down any breakable knick knacks)


anything I hate? Hmm, taking out the empty RUM bottles to the recycle bin?

heck, you make it sound so hard to do!

ya get yer garden hose, bring it in, start at one end of the room and just spray back and forth until you get to the doorway, then keep going till you get to an outside door!

it should be dry in a day or two, just go to WDW or DLR till it is!

you know, GP, she really likes you, ever since you told her not lay in the yard so the moles wouldn't attach themselves to her. However, she is pretty smart, so I don't think she'll fall for it.

I hate dishes! - To the point that sometimes I will avoid cooking not because I don't want to cook, but because I don't want to make more dishes.

(Mopping the floor is a close second, but at least that doesn't have to be done as often.)
