Worst counter service food

Where have you had the worst counter service food and why was it the worst?

Worst overall was the cold hockey puck I got for a burger at the counter service restaurant at Blizzard Beach,has to be up there for the worst burger ever.At Universal the one or two times I've eaten at Circus McGurkus have not been very good,in my last visit to Three Broomsticks I wasn't very fond of the Cornish pasties,the rest of the menu was things I'm not a huge fan of or turkey legs like Enchanted Oak had so I tried something different in the pasties that I won't be ordering again.My favorites would be Louie's at Universal,the pizza is always good and Thunder Falls terrace which also has a similar menu to The Enchanted Oak which used to be my all time favorite,I didn't like the seating arrangement and crazyness at Three Broomsticks with the crazy crowds and being told where to sit.

Definitely Mel's for me. I ate there during HHN - people on here had warned that it was terrible, but I was tired and hungry and thought "surely it can't be THAT bad..."

It was. I got a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were hot and fresh, but the burger was dry, flavorless, and cold, and the cheese had not melted at all. I ate just enough that I wasn't hungry anymore, and threw the rest out. It was the only bad meal of my trip.

I would have to agree with Mel's being the worst as well. It's really hit or miss so it's a gamble each time.

I'll third Mel's. I don't even remember what I ordered to be honest but it was awful.

I hate to be a follower but just from reading the thread name my first thought was that the only bad food I ever had was from Mel's! I'm really trying to think if I've ever gotten bad food anywhere else and I just can't remember it ever happening.

We've only been to Universal for one day, the food was very good. No complaints. Worst theme park food goes to DHS, mainly the stands on Sunset Blvd.

I had chicken strips from Mel's that were essentially inedible so I'll agree with most.

I agree that the pasties at Three Broomsticks are AWFUL! Taste like frozen empanades (sp?) or something. I also had a hamburger this week at Richter's Burger Co that was awful. I expected a place with burger in the name to deliver a decent burger but ended up with a cold hockey puck with unmelted cheese .

The only counter service we didn`t enjoy this year was Burger Digs.

Not nice at all, we all had something different and they were all practically inedible. And the tables were not clean.

We took the food back up and were offered another meal each but we said no thank you we would prefer to go somewhere else, so the guy in charge said we were to have a refund and apologised.

This was our first visit here but we won`t go back as there are so many fantastic places in there to eat.
