Worst Band Thread

i know how you feel....im in the minority under the minority... i like asian rock music...i despise rap, r'n'b, hip-hop, whatever you want to call it. i have to suffer with eminem with my brother all the time. i just dont like it. i dont care if people do (my best friend for years adores it) but it gives me headaches with the repetitive "base" and it just doesnt seem like real "music" to me...

music (to me, you can, of course think what you want) should be the expression of ones feelings, emotions, etc. in any way shape or form.

talking to "music" about drugs, clubs, shoes, and other...inatimate objects is not music. its just a money maker. i mean...is music really listening to someone repeat "mike jones" over and over again really amusing?

but of course, like everyone said, we're all entitled to our own likings and opinions. and no one should be judged for it.

I don't like most rap music, and oldies, other than that, I like most of the other music they play on the radio.

oh another one...USHER! here's like a million more bands i hate (some i guess arent considered bands, others are just solo artisits) kelly clarkson, clay aiken, usher, justin timberlake, outkast, snoop dogg, the whole 50 cent g-unit thing, (basically all rappers, rap groups) britney spears, (basically all pop lol) um...lenny kravitz, 3 doors down, isance clow posse........i will definately think of more later!

Love 'em all. Especially Outkast. I love it so much, I'm pretty sure all my friends want to murder me because i'm obsessed. I admit it. I am an outkast-obsessed 14 year old girl.

Oh and I absolutely LOVE yellowcard. Switchfoot is good too. I, unlike most people who say they're yellowcard fans, had their first cd and was a big fan way before the whole ocean avenue/only one craze of last summer.

I used to be SUCH SUCH SUCH a No Doubt fan. Had their first albums wayyy back when. Wow, those were the days. :rotfl:

Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Macy Gray, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Elvis, My Chemical Romance, System of a Down, Evanesence, any 90's boy band, Eminem, Shania Twain{actually, ANY woman country singer annoys the crap out of me}, Bow Wow, Moby, Nine Inch Nails, John Mayer...those are just the ones off the top of my head.

I must admit that I like No Doubt as well. I am not a huge fan of their newest music, but definatly like "Tragic Kingdom".

Yeah, that is pretty funny to me, as is Paul Wall's part in the song.

Your narrow definition of music doesn't do it justice, singing about drugs, clubs, crimes, etc is describing you enviroment and is not always simply about making money. But I've got no problem if it is.
