Worse: Andrew or Katrina?

Actually it was limited to the South Dade area from Kendall south not just the Homestead area. Country Walk was flattened and it is just north of me, Metrozoo was devastated, my neighborhood looked like a bomb blast hit, Cutler Ridge was destroyed as was Saga Bay. My husband as an insurance agent had to take the adjusters to various areas because there were so street signs for them to find anything and saw the areas hit first hand.

My apologies--but the point that it was limited to one section.

Right now--for all intents and purposes--and entire city is lost--an entire state got whammed with a hurricane.

The point was---comparing the too.....Katrina's damage is more devastating.

But to those affected---it is equally as tragic.

I was just [ointing out that is was a far larger area than what you were talking about. I agree the devatation of Katrina is far more widespread and the human toll is far worse although there were rumours of more people dying from Andrew than reported. They were listed as missing and never found. Some we will never know about.
