I have a reservation through Alamo when we arrive in Orlando. Well, I noticed they have this prepay service to lock in your rates. So, I thought, I will go ahead and do that and thats one less thing to have to worry about paying for after we arrive. Well, it says Alamo's Rate is Sold Out, to check National. Does this mean that even though I have a reservation w/ them that I may not get a car???? :earseek:

That could pose a bit of a problem......Does anyone have a clue about what this means???? :badpc:

If you have a confirmation number from Alamo that means you have a reservation with them. I believe the lock in rate is so that you can lock in that rate given with that reservation...meaning it isn't subject to change if they increase their fees before then. Why don't you give Alamo a call and work through the details with them, and make sure you are reserved in their system as well.

It probably means the "prepaid rate" deal is sold out. But I agree, call Alamo and see what your status is.

Car rental companies overbook also. Just because you have a reservation during a busy time they do run out of cars. I am sure they would take care of you though.
