I was reading the WL FAQ and saw that someone said that on their recent stay at the WL they noticed that the room was in need of some paint and that the furniture was seeing its fair share of abuse? Do the rooms at the WL need a rehab? I am used to staying in hotels and I udnerstand that everyday use causes some wear and tear on everything, but are they to that point where it is too much? I am a little worried because we are looking forward to staying at the WL, but this might put a damper on our stay if we walk into a room not up to par.

I was there beginning of the year, and the rooms looked perfectly fine to me. As a matter of fact, we had a new bedspread and the carpet was SPOTLESS. I dont think they need rehab. Someone just might of gotten a room that needed a bit of work or something. We have been there twice and the rooms look great to me!

I wouldnt worry if I were you! :)

We were there last month and everything looked fairly newish. I don't see the need for a rehab.

Just got back two weeks ago and everything looked good to me. A lot better than any hotel I haved stayed at.

I would also add that if you do have a problem with your room, I am sure the CMs would gladly switch you to another room, it's sounds as if it may have been an issolated incident.

We will be staying there in October for the first time and I was a little concerned about the rooms too but.......

every hotel in WDW has rooms that used more than others (more requested rooms) and they get beat up a little faster than a lot of the other rooms. imho.;)

you could always request to move.
