I know Mary would not recomend them unless she thought they provide a good service.I am also aware that so many of you have gotten good service from them..BUT..here is my dilema..I ordered 2 hopper tkts yesterday morning for a great price. When I get the e-mail receipt all the info is correct except that for some reason my shipping address is missing!!....They do have my billing address which is for my mom's house and if they send it there it will be fine,of course,I rather receive them at home. The problem is I have been calling all day today(friday) to make sure they will either send them to my billing address or to give them my shipping address and all I get is the message that they are either closed or assisting other customers.I called every 5 minutes the 800 # and their orlando number and got the message everytime.I left a message explaining what happened and left my cell number for someone to ctc me.So far no one has called.I started calling at 9am and stopped calling at 4pm.I just checked my emails nothing from them.We are leaving in 29 days I ordered from them ,because, I thought I would get the tickets in time.If I can't reach them on monday I will call Amex to see if I can cancel the order.I really would hate to do this. But,if I tell you that I called at least 100 times today I'm not exagerating. What would you do???

THEY ARRIVED TODAY!!!

I would wait until Monday afternoon...maybe they were extremely busy to day or the phones weren't working correctly....I would try to call them again on Monday to see if you had any luck...

I won't worry yet...

I've heard great things about them, so I wouldn't worry yet. I understand how you feel about the answering machine though. I called last Friday, Monday and Tuesday to order the 3-Day hopper passes. (This was after I sent an email inquiry and received a response from them instructing me to call to order in person.) I got the machine each and every time I called. I left several messages with my phone number, expecting them to call back. (The machine recording DID say my call was important to them and they'd return my call.) At 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon I FINALLY reached someone. I was close to giving up on them! After finally getting in touch with someone I suddenly had to get off the phone to tend to my DS who was having a crisis, and didn't get a chance to place my order. When I called back an hour later, the same young guy answered the call. I was a little nervous -- the background noises sounded like a college dorm. Not at all like a business. Still, Mary recommends them, as well as The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, so I'm not going to fret too much... just yet. I'll feel better when the tickets arrive though.

They called me back today. I was told that today all the employees were at a training session except for one person manning the phones. He told me that they would get back to me tomorrow and apologized for the inconvenience. I would not be surprised if they don't call until Monday.

They called me back today (Saturday) and everything was great. I wouldn't cancel your order. They have a very good reputation. Feel free to PM me if you have any concerns.

I just called expecting to leave another message and guess what??....Someone actually picked up the phone I was so relieved to hear an actual voice...to me she sounded like an angel(LOL) .For some reason they do have my shipping info it just wasn't on my receipt. The person I spoke to was actually very nice. She even told me when they were going to ship them out.OK,so now that I don't have to worry about where the tickets are been shipped to I'll begin worrying about getting them on time.(LOL)

By the way ....Phamton...Fox&Hound..zurgswife..you helped me get thru the weekend..I didn't tell my husband ,because, I didn't think he would understand..but,you guys understood exactly how I felt....THANK YOU;)

Bridgettesmom, so relieved that you finally got through to them! I have had my doubts about Ticketmania as well, despite finally speaking to someone last week. I knew exactly how you were feeling! Getting the answering machine over and over, and not receiving a response, made me uneasy. I know that they come highly recommended though. Let us know when your hoppers arrive!!!!

My tickets arrived today, a few days earlier than they had stated. HOORAY!! The envelope was STUFFED with tons of info on the Orlando area. Very cool! Now I just have to stop looking at the silly tickets and put them someplace safe. We're not leaving for another six weeks!

Was going through all of this worth it for the $10 or so you saved? I buy from Disney.

their prices for a 5 day park hopper pass is $230 but it you go to the disney web page: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wa...ets/genticketrootindex?id=RITicketRoot#hopper

and order on line their 5 day park hopper is $217.

am i missing something....i don't understand what the big savings is with ticketmania

thanks

The price at the Disney site does not include tax or shipping. If you include those, the cost on disney.com is comparable to Ticketmania for the tickets ($230.00 at Ticketmania vs. $230.02 at disney.com) but Ticketmania shipping is free while disney.com charges $3.00 per order. All in all, not a tremendous savings at Ticketmania for the 5-day hopper but still less than disney.com.

I didn't compare the five day hoppers -- maybe you only save a few dollars here or there. I was interested in the 3-day hopper plus, which you can not purchase from Disney anymore. I believe that Disney has only made these tickets available to brokers (like Ticketmania) and conventions. We are only planning on being at Disney for a few days, and as it is so close to the holidays, wanted to save money wherever we could. If it wasn't so close to the holidays, maybe we would have gone with the four or five day hopper and saved the extra days for a future trip (which wouldn't be until 2005), but with a Disney vacation AND the Christmas holidays just weeks apart, the money saved on tickets can be used towards gifts or other activities. The difference in purchasing the 3 day hopper, over the four day hopper, was a savings of over $150 for us. So, yes, it was worth it to purchase from Ticketmania.

:D :p I ordered my tickets on October 17th and received them along with a huge pack of Orlando information on October 26th. I had no trouble whatsoever. I ordered 4-day park hopper passes for $203.00/ticket including shipping. I thought this was a good price considereing they sent me all that stuff with my passes! It wasn't an astronomical savings, but it will pay for one of my meals. Any little bit of savings helps.

I got in on the "Fun in the Sun" package from Mary at Mousesavers.com. Had a scare Sunday night after reading what Mary put on her website about the package fiasco. I emailed Ticketmania sunday night and I got a reply by email the next day reasureing me that everything was ok. I was ordering those tickets right away and got in on it before they ran out. Thank goodness. For those of you that get Mary's newsletter you know what I am talking about. I also called at 9:45 am yesterday to triple check and they are being sent out on Wed, overnight, no charge to us.

If they come thru for us we may use them again.

I received my "Fun in the Sun" from Ticket Mania yesterday. Everything was great! On the vouchers it says: "Present this voucher at any Ticket Booth, together with a current photo ID and you will receive your Florida Fun in the Sun Pass." Thse vouchers don't say anything about presenting a passport (like I understand the International Fun in The Sun voucher say.) Nowhere on any of the vouchers does it say it is for International travelers only.

Ticket Mania came thru for us.Actually the tickets got here a day early.I was told they were scheduled to arrive on the 30th and we received them on the 29th.For those who questioned why did I ordered my tickets with them. Here is my answer not only did we get a plus option for just a few more dollars than the regular advance purchase 4 day hopper with NO shipping fee we also got a whole bunch of stuff that will help us plan and save. For example we already have our kids eat free coupon at Houlihan's another coupon for 10% off our check at Bennigan's and a coupon for $2.50 off per person admission for Kennedy Space Center. I know we could of gotten these coupons once we get there ,but, now we don't have to run around looking for them.As a matter of fact,my husband, who believes that we could go to Europe again with the amount of money we spend at Disney got so excited when he started to read all the stuff that they sent us that he decided that we will stay an extra day to go to Kennedy Space Center and that my dear disers's is Priceless!!;)

Our "fun in the sun" is being mailed out overnigtht tonight. Our package has free admission to kennedy space center, at least that is what I printed off the site. I got the 30 day pass, which was more then the hoppers. I was relieved to see Phantoms post that she got here. I was wondering about the free character breakfest, did that come on a ticket or simething?

Thanks,

Robin in Mi

We also planned a trip to Kennedy Space Center because of the tickets we were getting. Our twins will turn 9 while on this trip so this is part of their b-day present. Great educational stuff there.

:bounce: :earseek:

I also used Ticketmania for the 3 day hopper plus. Usually we wait until we get there and get 7 day hopper plus (with DC discount) and then save some of the days for future trips. This time in talking about the plan, my husband started putting up a stink about only wanting to buy tickets for what we needed for this trip! Well, we only want to go into the parks for 3 days and you would normally have to get one day passes ... which means you can't park hop!

Sooooo, this special 3 day hopper plus was the answer that satisfied us both!

Am expecting the tickets any day now, but the individuals I dealt with were very professional and have sent 3 e-mails confirming my order -- all info correct.
