Worried about Nov 14-22 Crowds

We are booked at AKV - Kidani (VGF on wait list) Nov 14 - 22. I'm hoping we picked a good week for our first DVC stay. It's been a little tedious booking ADR's but I did finally manage to get everything DD wants for her birthday stay. Anyone been this week that can give a little insight to the crowds?

After that first weekend, you should be good! 11/16 is the last day of the Food and Wine Festival--so expect Epcot to be very busy on 11/14, 11/15...not sure about 11/16, but it's a Monday so if you want to go to the festival, that might be a good day for it. Food and Wine festival weekends are very crowded with locals coming in too. The good news is that you're after 'Jersey week' and before the Thanksgiving crowds come in.

We'll be part of the Thanksgiving crowd the next week (11/23-11/29). Oh well! Only time we can see the Christmas decorations without pulling the kids out of more than 1 1/2 days of school.

Here is a link to a crowd calendar. We have found this to be quit accurate. You will see the week you pick is a low crown level.
We were there the same time last November and the crowds were very light. You should have a great week.

We have been that week a few times and found it very nice. Agree, the first weekend will be busy at Epcot. We are booked 11/16 -11/22. We actually wanted to go a week earlier but some other plans got in the way. Hubby was happy it worked out this way because we have been the week prior before and did find it busier.

It's a good time to go - have been there several times during that period including last year. Crowds are relatively low and the Christmas season will be starting up. Weather can be mixed - last year it was very nice. But 2009 comes to mind as being pretty cold.
